AuthorWorldbuilder: I definitely think we will get a Quel'thalas-themed neighborhood in Midnight. They state that they plan to make more neighborhoods, they just want to focus on a small number of high-effort neighborhoods rather than a large number of low-effort neighborhoods. 1-2 new neighborhoods per expansion definitely fits that philosophy.

nitebones1: one thing i would love is if for the private neighbourhoods is if your in the guild one. then there is a extra big building in teh centre as a sort of town or guild hall where the guild leaders and officers can edit to make it a big home for everyone

This 2 zones we get first is just a start. They will add more zones.

I'm actually very happy with blizz decision to gather their dev and designers time to build 2 zone beautiful and then add more zone in future.

Imagine if they decided to make 50 zones from the start and they didn't had the manpower to make each zone perfect. That would have been a disaster.

I stayed subbed to 14 for the entirety of endwalker, even though I stopped playing after the msq, just because I didn’t want to lose my house, but I ended up in the hospital for a while and lost it anyway. I canceled my sub after that. I spent days designing my house. I was more proud of it than anything else I’ve ever done in a game, and it felt terrible to lose it.

jasqorp: Man I miss Wildstar housing.

kornfreak78: They ABSOLUTELY need to create two new professions that are for player housing. I think "Carpenter" for the main profession (building furniture and other items for your house) and "Lumberjack" would be good for the "gathering" 2nd profession to go with it (cutting down trees and gathering wood). This really needs to happen. That would be the chef's kiss for player housing.

chappo1725: While it was never mentioned in the blizz post, I hope the devs are considering the ability to change the skyboxes, I think this would be a game-changer for customisation and would make certain houses really pop in terms of the general vibe

graceantha: even though I totally get it sucks that we only have two versions of neighborhoods so far, I think it’s smart that they started out with only two, one for each faction, so they can make sure they get it right. housing is a big undertaking and I don’t blame them for not wanting to take on too much and not get it right

Dylan-vd6rz: I think there's going to be 2 neighborhoods added in Midnight. A Horde neighborhood in the reconstructed "ruins of silvermoon" next to falconwing square along the dawning lane. And an Alliance one in the new draenei capital (that I'm assuming is going to be on the reclaimed bloodmyst isle??)

For Last Titan grizzly hills for sure and maybe borean tundra or howling fjord?

I could also see neighborhoods being added to the reconstructed undercity and bel'ameth at some point too

kjrussell6140: I understand what they're trying to do, but neighborhoods come with a whole lot of drawbacks that I'm not sure they've fully considered. The guild neighborhoods are very cool, though. Might make everything worth it. Optimistic, hoping for the best. Huge potential if they've got the follow-through.

hempracer: I want a Duskwood-style neighborhood, or something with a similar vibe, and a house to fit in, whether that's something spooky and dark, or something lighter and more cottage-core. I'm open to anything, and I would like something with a good amount of customization so that I can make the perfect little home for myself in whatever way I see fit.

netherialdreyrimani: the horde image makes me think of the border between azshara and durotar with the pine trees in the back and the baobobs in the front. Makes sense, expanding orgrimar out to the coast for housing.
