The path to the Dragon Isles, ancestral home of the dragonflights, opens November 28. Whether you’re returning to the land of Azeroth or new to these magical lands, we’ve put together some helpful information to prepare you for your journeys ahead.

Returning to Azeroth with Account Recovery

As adventurers across the world return to join the excursion into the Dragon Isles, you may need assistance logging into your account.  Our  can help you recover access to your account in multiple ways. Our in-game Help Request section allows you to search through thousands of articles or use great self-help tools like , , or , all without waiting for a Game Master. You’ll also soon find an easily accesible collection of information at the top of the page, such as Known Issues, Breaking News, and useful self-service options. Trending articles can also quickly point out issues you may be experiencing, as well as workarounds to help keep your journey into Northrend moving forward.

To access the in-game help section, open the Game Menu by clicking on the icon or press Escape on your keyboard to access the Game Menu, then select Support.

Can’t find exactly what you’re looking for on the front page? Use the Search bar to look for the quest, NPC, skill, spell, monster, boss, or issue you’re experiencing. The Support Portal will serve up relevant articles on the issue, as well as workarounds, troubleshooting steps, and more.

If you’ve found an issue that hasn’t been listed yet, click the Contact Support tab to report your issue to our Game Masters. You can also click Submit a bug or suggestion to let the development team know about issues you encounter while in the game.

Updated User Interface and HUD

Sweeping changes have been made from the ground up to provide a clutter-free layout that allows players to customize their HUD to fit their individual needs better. Play as a Mage, Priest, or Rogue of Any Race

With the arrival of the Dragonflight first phase of the pre-expansion patch, all playable races can join the fray as scholarly Mages, cunning Rogues, or devout Priests. This change will add eight new race and class combinations to Dragonflight and will be available to all players—even those who don't own Dragonflight yet. Below you'll find an updated list of all race and class combinations for both factions. to view all the new options available.

In addition to these updated race and class combinations, with the release of the second phase of the Dragonflight pre-patch on November 15, a new race and class combination, the dracthyr Evoker —a new hero class— will also become available for players with the Dragonflight expansion to create and play.
