Bluezbreakr2: Hyjal. Hyjal. It's Hyjal. God, please, get Hyjal away from me. Imagine taking one of the most beloved environments/zones in the history of the franchise, refusing to release the nearly finished version of it during vanilla, and then releasing it as the most agonizingly boring raid one xpac later. Truly, staggeringly stupid.
MrLordZenki: To this day I can't see the Malygos fight without repeating the mantra in my head: "1, 1, 2. 1, 1, 2"
ryanmullen483: MoP and WoD raids were truly goated
Zerasad: Naaah, Wrath has got to be Ruby Sanctum. Tons of annoying ads and an annoying boss that no one bothered to do after 9 months of ICC.
EDIT: Also in the same vein, To4W for Cata. It's super gimmicky and the loot is very RNG and gets pretty useless quickly. I guess it's at least quick but it always felt like a hassle after a while.
pB-ri6su: By wave 3 it feels like Hy-jail
Beranin: "I'm going with sanctum"
shows a ton of footage of sepulcher
MPBrickz: I wish I could have kept enjoying raiding, I tried. But around ICC and especially into Cataclysm, it just started feeling like such a chore. It got to a point where my favorite part of playing WoW was just leveling alts, and my main turned into a raid logging character.
rastko024: Wotlk not being Ruby Sanctum feels illegal, that raid is so bad
ffarkasm: I liked AQ20. The waves on the General Rajaxx was boring and annoying, but the rest of the raid was pretty cool I think. Aesthetic-wise it was much better than the boring endless tunnel of AQ40. The whole environment was imposing. Ossirian was an interesting and challenging fight compared to any other 20-men encounter, so it was always a good experience to successfully beat him.
Norrieification: I actually quite enjoy AQ20. Surprised by that one. I found it pleasant. I think I'd say MC for my least favorite in Classic.
tyfighter015: With WoTLK you could easily pick any of the raids that aren't Ulda or ICC. Having never played WoW until 2019, I can easily say all of those are the worst raids I've been a part of. Wrath had sooo many wasted phases
pullt: Worst Vanilla raid was 40 man BRD before they added the MC entrance.
ElDinosaurioGigante: AQ40... I may have became an alcoholic for awhile due to the trash mobs up to and after twin emps
Conwaywest3: Only raided classic through wraith. Malygos was the worst. But it also brings back one of my favorite memories. Our first time doing it most of us didn’t understand the mechanics, but we had one Chad ass dwarf hunter, our guild leader, that solo’d him in the final 5-10% health by himself. It was so damn hype. Before looting we all agreed if any loot he needed he got it. There was not loot for him at all lmao. He was pissed and I understand. Was a small guild that pug’d half our players, and none of us got any gear because it was a pug. Disbanded shortly after. Cleared 9/12 in ICC with the guild he joined after ours. he went on to clear but I just didn’t have time to be dedicated enough
ShahroozSmith: The thing about Ultraxion in Dragon Soul was originally it was supposed to be a fight against this one super powerful dragon with 5 heads of each dragonflight stitched into a single being that is impervious to all types of magic... but because animating a 5 headed dragon would've been a nightmare from a technical stand point, we get Ultraxion instead.
Also Highmaul was weird... it was setting up a few potential storylines and a look at the Ogre stuff... but Blizzard never went far with it and just skipped it to rush out Legion. Like.. Cho'gall shows up and then dies in the mythic version, and at one point in the beta, Kargath Bladefist was supposed to run away while leaving behind his Bladefist.. implying we would fight him again in the future but that never happened.
Astronic: The worst raid was the toxic players. With fun players any raid becomes fun.
ramones1314: I would argue Trial of Valor is worse than Emerald Nightmare. The mechanics and fights were fine, it's just this was the first time Blizzard had SO many variables for player power at launch that they didn't know how to tune it. Either overtune and the playerbase can't even do the raid, but the Maw farmers are having fun, OR, be cautious and let people raid and have fun while the top 1% are bored. Trial of Valor felt more forgettable and I remember a lot of my guildmates not even knowing why we were there. I personally felt Odyn and Helya were fun fights but a 3 boss raid that is just kinda introduces at bonus content until Nighthold drops was...a tad forgettable.
NotTeerno: Worst raid in Legion was Tomb of Soakgeras, and its not even close
rattlehead999: For me:
TBC: Hyjal (4/10)
WotLK: Trial of the Crusader(3/10) and EoE(3/10)
Cata: Dragon Soul (7/10)
MoP: Entire Tier 14(5-6/10)
WoD: all the raids are awesome...
Legion: Emerald Nightmare (8/10)
BFA: Uldir(8/10)
Shadowlands: Sepulcher of the First Ones (9/10)
Dragonflight: I did only the first two raids and they were amazing again, so IDK.
Boxkar24: Mine are:
Classic: Molten Core
TBC: Hyjal (for obvious reasons)
Wrath: ToC
Cata: the first raid tier (I'm biased here because I actually never got the chance to do it. yay being deployed)
MoP: Heart of Fear (with Siege being a close second mostly due to how long it was around).
WoD: Hellfire Citadel
Legion: Tomb of Soakgarus
BFA: Uldir
Shadowlands: Sanctum of Domination
Dragonflight: Amirdrasil (for the soul reason of my guild and I being hard stuck on mythic Igira for weeks! Ntm reclearing her was just as much of a nightmare, lol).
Exoreya: Mount hyjal as worst raid for tbc is very accurate, it was because of this video that i even remember that this raid even exists
stunsisacul: Abberrus had the unfortunate place of being a good raid going up against two great raids.
And Daddy D’s house of fun was the high point for that expansion. If only we could move Painsmith into that raid.
Nettle01: Remember the fish bugging you out in AQ20 ? Yeah. Forget that place
ecliiipsx: I honestly loved Aberrus more than I loved VOTI, it was my first raid where I snatched AotC, so to me, its a nice raid. Sark was an amazing fight, I just wish the room wasn't that purple, cause some spells wasn't that visible, lol.
theMFGUNIT: Hyjal is only boring if your guild is terrible tbf, you can run down to the spawn point and take out the waves 3x quicker if you're motivated.
ffarkasm: WotLK had the best AND the worst raids in the game. There is no middleground there.
