toastiewulf: fun fact about the elixer of tongues, it is avaliable in retail in legion dalaran. but it only allows you to UNDERSTAND the other faction now a days.
Miller1107: Elixir of Tongues is in retail, has been since Legion. Great for RP
Arivia1: I can immediately think of some out of bounds uses for being able to fear yourself on command.
Sara.Space.H: On the topic of items not implemented I recall back in 2004 rumors of books that would let say humans learn gnomish, in faction language books. Not sure if players were speculating or of that was planned to be a thing at some point
szzsolt42: A fun fact fact about the Fabled steed, during Wrath it also has a passive snowfall effect.

Somebody374-bv8cd: Damn, even Todd's hatred of spears affected Blizzard.

Schluviel: So for Legendary mounts there was often the rule that if bosses mount up, like Blackhand or (in theory, but never done in the fight) Kael'Thas, there were legendary versions of their mounts just to have the "mount" state for those models.
1un4cy: Bet the only reason druids could suddenly wield polearms again was because someone put druid stats on a polearm not realizing they couldn't use it so they just added the weapon proficiency because it was also a good weapon for hunters.
zimattack9994: The first one was probably an early npc item also the dragon mount is used rend actually use a mount item to get to the arena
