unclvinny: Hello to all the Blizzard art designers who obsessively watch every Crendor video, hoping their art gets featured: We love you!
TE-eq1dc: Demonic butterfly for the win
rookwind: special shoutout to the woman going to get water out of the well in elwynn when she gets attacked by bandits … 20 years of her sisyphean hydration quest
forkittens: well well well....
thepurpleshade486: Oh heck yeah it’s sleeping time. Thanks, just in time for me to go to bed: a sleepy time video
iamlegion3093: I always think of the quest “Cleanse the Wildmane Well” and just the Mulgore water wells.
Love the vid!
golgarisoul: Ah, yes. I do love a pointless top ten. Really calms me down as I wind down for the evening. Thank you.
obxolicious1361: Crendor pog
melissahughes4205: I've been to Owen's Wishing Well, tossed a coin in and looted the dagger (which counts for some Pandaria achievement or other, can't remember off the top of my head). It is a really lovely, peaceful spot. One of the nicer in-game memorials.
Just now noticing that the takeout container on its side has a handful of screws. How odd, I wonder if there is any kind of meaning behind it.
cydonia0703: Been watching PTT and C&C animated with my LDR boyfriend but tonight we get to watch this one together on the couch
Ryzawa: This series here is just so blizzard world designers can feel seen and I'm all for it lol
SpookyStu: Well, well, well... and seven others.
GdzieJestNemo: i'm surprised you didn't include any n.elven moon wells
TiMmY3761: Thanks Crendor, this is exactly what i needed to cap off my doom watching YouTube at 3:30 in the morning
golgarisoul: The fact wells in Mulgor don't actually have water pouring out of it always made me sad when I saw them. It made the whole scene more dire as it made me feel like the Tauren were having more water problems in addition to the poisoned wells.
thepeculiarmaple: This channel scratches my brain in a way that I can't put into words.
Nicely done!
Illuminateus: Was hoping for "well of eternity" to be number 1 lol.
brianmiller1077: #7 That Grummle's lucky do ran out.
dsalucas: Honorable mention to the well in the trade district of Stormwind, because of Ol' Emma.
Originally from up in the (now) plaguelands, the alliance can pick up a quest from the ghost of her sister Janice for a package to Emma Felstone (the horde's version sends them to her undead brother in the undercity who's a cockroach vendor but he has nothing to do with wells). A visit to the census tells us that it's Ol' Emma. She's the old lady that goes back and forth from somewhere in the canals to the well in the trade district and back, with dialogue complaining about how all she does is fetch buckets of water. She gives you half of a good luck charm of Janice's to give to her. You end up needing to complete it, with the other half held by Janice's husband. A ghoul found nearby. But with it she can pass on.
Ol Emma was in a book's lore event where Calia Menethil and Anduin arrange for some members of the forsaken to meet up with still living relatives, the Gathering. Emma gets to see her sons a final time... Because the rogue Sylvanas orders her archers to kill the forsaken at the Gathering, and they don't survive.
Most recently Ol' Emma can be found in Oribos during shadowlands asking to see her sons, unaware (and you're urged not to tell her) that they're in the Maw. Rough.
Uhhh tl;dr there's a crotchety old lady that goes to and from that well with quite a story.
AL-Inverse-Game: I think you did a great job finding wells for this list. You didn't go for low hanging fruit like the moon well.
kevindragon3883: Next list: pointless top 10 buckets
kmy6074: Pointless top 10 mailboxes?
adolfoherrera4743: Night elf's moon Wells didnt make the cut
DragynGirl: Crendor has such a wealth of useless/ful (?} information form everything he looks up for these top 10's!!
tatalsaba: What strikes me is that the Horde really doesn't do waterwells, there's the Tauren one at #5, so the Horde apparently doesn't need water.
1# is also a special one for two other reasons: 1. you can jump down the well, which leads us to number 2. It connects directly to a sewer, which makes it a health hazard to use, and btw with that many mages in the city, you're one spell away from water, so it really is pointless that it's there.
