SomeNerdSomewhere: Hasn't brought me back
surrenderfleet: I loved the idea of SoD, but I couldn't help feeling like I was playing on a weird AF private server
CatDad09: P4 is some of the most fun times I’ve had playing WoW in many years. As a dad with a job, I would have quit a long time ago without the exp buff.
aomforever: Heat levels should honestly just disable the World buffs, while also increasing the difficulty.
beornyondur4594: Been leveling on Classic Era. I just can't get behind SoD.
mattdoherty9187: I've been enjoying SOD but just finally reached my burnout point. after reaching lvl 56, looking at the myriad of grinds I am facing for pre-BIS, rep etc, then looking at our guild roster which was gutted by forced server transfers and slow decline as P3 dragged on, I'm realizing we can't even field a 20 man, much less a 40 man raid. Not interested in starting anew with another guild and really just not motivated to grind anymore. Thought it was a great idea and hope they use the experience and feedback for a true Classic in the future.
voltisfy: honestly having a blast with p4. always got to 60 in classic and never really ran dungeons/raids because i hated the gameplay. the full kit for all the classes is a good fresh take imo
Alekszx: I leveled up to 60, did some dungeons, and quit... They changed the game too much. It lost his soul. Right now I'm playing on turtlewow, and I got a reality check of what Blizzard could actually do : true vanilla but better.
Persepolis-o2b: SoD got too crazy with all the runes, class updates and race to level cap. Cata just doesn’t hit the nostalgia. Waiting and praying for TBC fresh
AEGISDEFENSE: I can’t get in a Mara group to get runes on pally. I’m gonna go play era
randomdude_2000: The reason I'm done with SOD and wow in general is the realization that there is really only one way to play the game and its not really an expansive world where you can do anything and play however you want. All the cookie cutter guides on gear you should have to your actual class rotation to the optimal way to level to getting high parse score, anything else is playing the game wrong. WOW is actually a very linear game with clear instructions on exactly how to play the game and once you reach level cap you burn out because there is nothing else to do because there is only one way to play the game.
jarheadjah3747: A had Alt-itis in EVER SINGLE MMO I have ever played for almost 20 years. But SOD and this time sink of a rune system absolutely killed that...
When people do not make alts your game dies. The End
Miller1107: World Buffs is the reason I won't play SoD endgame. I have zero interest in needing to go collect them all just to raid. Absolutely not. Which frankly is a shame, because Shaman Tank is so cool and I really hope we see it added to retail at some point.
ez6791: It's the only reason I'm playing SoD. Lvl 60. Who the hell cared to farm and raid log bfd at 25, gnomer at 40, etc. This is what everyone has been waiting. Full class changes at 60. New content and changes to a 1-60 classic wow. Still need the actually new raids but I think they can only reuse assets. Ill say I definitely feel more casual this time around. Not in a rush to pre bis or even level cap on all my characters. Just enjoying the game when I want to play
eaglefreedom5361: The bonus experience buff isn’t to force people to endgame it is to make leveling alts more friendly and expand your game experiences beyond just your main. I think people are upset about something that is misunderstood.
devonchafe2764: I mean it has the same problem every game does now. Meta. The concept of meta has completely destroyed gaming for me, I don't want to use the same cookie cutter build and set up to get into groups or raids or whatever. All individuality has been stripped from gaming and it's just depressing.
That's why I rarely play with other people now and just play single player games the way I want to
