CMichael2276: I exclusively play Hardcore Classic, and I've been enjoying it so much! The world is exciting in HC. Every little thing your character does seems valuable. Even a single fishing point increase feels more important in a world of perma-death. For the Horde!

TEJR69: Me personally always enjoyed the leveling part and never really understood those who'd do anything (like payin' $60) to skip it.

With hardcore wow, not only there are always people to run dungeons with, but waiting for a quest mob to spawn or something is a part that's great as well. You can strike a conversation with someone while you wait, suddenly there's a full group of random people who are waiting with you, you all finish the quest together, suddenly this guy can enchant your equipment, this guy can smith you something, you do more quests together and all of a sudden you made a memorable thing.

All those RestedXP guides, googling everything, trying to be THE best... I suppose it's always nice to try and be THE best or WORLD FIRST at the start, but c'mon fellers, it's been out for god knows how long, there's literally nothing to gain to brainlessly rush through the game. Have some god damn fun.

flowermaze___: TurtleWOW is the way. It’s like a true classic with new quests, new talents, a great dev team and passionate community. The server is very busy, popular, stable. There’s no botting, no gold buying or boosts.

It’s just classic in all it’s glory

tasmali5669: I liked SoD. But with 90% of the players being absolute nerd-rager sweats, it is no more fun.. they are midmaxing and log-checking and speedrunning as insanely as in retail.. thats not the classic fun-chill experience anymore. Hardcore is all there is left, at least for me
