swcentral: "Because the survivors of the conflict come to understand the force more deeply, that is purpose enough." - Darth Malgus
loucypher3914: SWtoR isn't dead! The brains of the staff are.
Mr. "I make the decisions over here!" has to clean house and get a few folks that love this game as much as we are loving it AND know how to code/handle a community. Easy as that.
Everhardt94: Swtor is the only Star Wars Game that lets me Play a loyal imperial from beginning to end. As an Empire fanboy, I hate how the Empire is always the Antagonist.
forumpvp: fighting with a brick wall is a waste of time
TKRepository: I really miss the glory days. Still alive and kicking, but definetly not flourishing. It's really quite heartbreaking.
PrimarchMatterion: Dead? really? Yep so dead I have made over 3 billion selling gear that I stored in 2016!! SO dead my guild has more active players than any current MMO that I have been apart off. I believe the only other SW game that has just as a devoted fan base is the Star Wars Galaxies Emulations servers!! BUT Despite the shitty space layers in this game...I LOVE this game since BETA!!
DEVS: I will continue to by Cartel Coins as long as there is communication. You also might want to get a counsel of top players to help address the community and get direct feed back!! We still exist.
Martynus7: Because it is a haven to everyone who loves Star Wars. The class stories are absolutely amazing where you have the absolute freedom in terms of Light and Dark side choices, to customize your character however you please. SWTOR is the only MMORPG where I genuinely enjoyed the story where not always your friends come to rescue you from everything (yes, FFXIV, I'm looking at you), where you can visit different planets, different enemies, different companions, where the cinematics are still mindblowing. Broadsword really should just listen, some of us been playing the game since the beginning (I joined in 2012), we remember the old stuff, we welcomed all the QoL updates to interfaces, but there are still many things to fix such as the game engine, updating graphics, pay more attention to class balances, overhauling character customization and the Cartel Market system, etc. etc. I still play this game, I still pay for subs and cartel coins, I still believe in its future. There are still many nice people and the ridiculous DK or Republic Fleet chat to entertain yourself.
Darthpicklelord: Great video, Boomy!!! I couldn't agree more, and I wish the lead devs weren't so fragile.
DakotaDoc: It is the only game I am playing, or will be playing. I would have to give up gaming otherwise.
BirdfaceGaming: PREACH BROTHA!!!!!!!!!!
tryhardlsr: Yes just pay your sub every month like good little boys and maybe 3 months from now you will 15 minutes of single player instanced cotent and maybe 3 years from now you will get a new raid and you will never see a PvP update or class balance patch ever again. Keep subbing until the games only updates are cash shop updates
juanmerino2771: We fight, because we want to know what are we fighting for
JacenFawkes: no matter how mad i get and all that bc all the shit that has happen with the game/company etc! i will always fight since i want this game to still be good and we love it and care for it! great video btw brother!
StormOS_Dev_Channel: you're right boomy, there's a lot wrong. It's terrible, they've almost lost me several times man, if it wasn't for the guilds i'm in, the friends i made over the years. I'd be gone, and without regret. SWTOR has sunk SO dang low, but im williing to fight and stick around because i enjoy it and i dont wanna see it fall due to devs who think they know what we want but they dont and have a their way or nothiing agenda. I pray we one day get what we want and not just fluffy bonuses.
TroySpencer-k6u: I'm personally taking a short break SWTOR to focus on Stellaris, but I have enjoyed SWTOR for over a decade. It has been my go to game often and the stories, the feel of SW is/are what keeps bringing me back. I want this game to endure for at least a while longer or even longer than that.
NarianaZone: Here is my two cents for what it is worth. There are a lot of toxic people in this game. I play multiple MMO's and multiplayer games. SWTOR is one of the more toxic ones. I keep chat minimized. The NEGATIVE/TROLLS have been saying the game is dead since 2013, time for those people to get a life and troll somewhere else. Next, new studio means new coders and figure out how all the systems work together and not break stuff. While the game was under EA there was lazy developers. Broadsword could be cleaning this mess up, and it takes time for everything. Finally, a lot has to do with management, clearly they are dysfunctional.
axelhargestam9549: We need vanilla swtor servers with out level sync and other garbage. Like combat styles. Nothing feels dangerous anymore the game is too easy
DeltaDragon79: I really like the game. I hope it continues but I must admit I wouldn't mind a more modern Star Wars MMO.
inner__: I was debating on coming back. Started playing in 2017 and stopped playing I think about 2 years ago now. But after seeing what was done with the character modernization and seeing them continue with the god awful mandolorian war story arc I can't bring myself to.
kelladorn9414: Dealing with this game in it's current state is not good for a returning player. All the great memories you have of the game when you left will be completely ruined with all the changes you see coming back. Today this game is in one of the worst states we have seen it. Community censorship is at an all time high as it comes to negative feedback, More studdering on planets and even the floor in certain parts of your guildship and stronghold, and The customization update was terrible. These devs aren't listening to anyone tbh. It took me all of a month streaming the game in discord to my former guildies to uninstall. Central brought me back to check the game out and i did. In the end this just wasn't the swtor i fell in love with. So we took the vote in discord and it was a perfect 24-0 vote of not coming back to the game. We gave the gave the guild to Boomy and left. You are gonna have to speak with your wallets because we have tried already. We tried videos, we tried X, we tried everything. whatever we do needs to be done as a collective team. Because even tho certain people i won't name may tell you there is nothing wrong with the game they don't believe their own hype. Friends i promise you we all know the game can be in a better spot but everyone needs to work together and thats EVERYONE. Remember this "True numbers will never be seen when you have false amounts of numbers hiding them." So if you guys want to see the game get better then you need to speak with your wallets. Unsubscribing from the game will be numbers that cannot be hidden and will speak more than anything else we have done yet.
EyesOfGehenna: The main thing why I keep coming back to this game is the atmosphere. This feels like Star Wars. Now, it does have some/many flaws, don't get me wrong especially since 5.0 but overall I still enjoy being in this game.
Zael_Moonblade: One thing that needs to happen is that Original Founders who payed for the Founders Pack Pre-Order need to have their subscriptions for free sonce they took away much of the content away and put it behind additional paywalls.
Edit: spelling
DanielWalker-q1t: We need the Sa'har and Ri'kan story expanded. Ri'kan seems a quite well thought out character. He's clearly dark side, compared to his sister. He has displayed force powers and abilities, but only when angry or frustrated. He is so strong in the force that he barely notices when he exhibits them. The reason he cannot channel the force in his sister's presence is because she is, essentially, light aligned, and he tries to follow her example. Once he realises he is dark-aligned he could become a really interesting antagonist.
ProphetPX: sigh........ their BLATANT PURPOSEFUL CONTEMPT in THEIR silence is still so damn fucking deafening .......
JReyesTbn46: Thanks for sticking up for the players!
rogerpalsgrove9678: Never forget why we do this, never forget the Jedi razed Korriban to the ground a thousand years ago.
DraphmirEmpire: Why we fight? All though out history People have always fought for the hope of something better
