I agree with you though Boomy, this delay is a great opportunity roll more stuff into one content patch. They SHOULD be working on things past the story content already. So when the voice actors finally come back to work they could be massively prepared…. I wonder if they had that much hindsight

I am just now getting back into it and hopeful that things go well and on the up and up because I miss the Star wars, lore and storytelling that SWTOR has done over the years. It would be epic if it came out on console. I have been waiting for that forever so that would be epic.

Mr.Curious364: i am waiting for the live stream since Jackie replied in the forums that they will discuss about the character modernization. some player are upset that their characters were botched with this update. it's been near 2 months. Some of us who are unhappy with it just want to know will we get a toggle or option to revert the "modernization", or if we should just drop the game completely.

yoshikagekira2616: Broadsword really needs to be more clear with what they have in plan for SWTOR, it also doesn't help they decided to stop using twitter for political reasons. I am recently new to the game and I have enjoyed most aspects of it, and despite the story decline I do think the vast majority of content the game offers is good. However, I do not see SWTOR maintaining a healthy playerbase if the development team continues to be passive aggressive towards it's community. As someone who has some development experience and launched a game on steam, you will inevitably run into people that question or dislike aspects of your game design. While not all criticism can be considered equal, it is entirely foolish to ignore or stonewall people from talking about your game. Developers, especially ones that are working on live service games have to realize that at the end of the day they are making a product for the players, and not taking into the account of what players think of your game is a failure to maintain it. I do think they have done some good, especially with dynamic encounters, and if story progress is already being halted or delayed then they really should shift their focus to other parts of the game that really need the support, and be active with the community to set their priorities straight. I know that game development is hard, and maintaing a game is hard, but at the end of the day it is what we are paying them to do.

ProphetPX: boomy, literally all i do in this game anymore is login to maybe 5 mule toons, just once a week, to manage my GTN auctions. I log in, get muh moneyyyy, put more schlock up for sale, then log out and close game. about once a week now. that is how burned out i am :(

I do NOT even bother with the new dynamic encounters because i already tested that buggy crap back on PTS..... blahhhh

princehadesplayz9160: Sorry boomy but I gotta be just a tiny little ity bit sassy. I think they it’s gonna be delayed or it’s gonna be on the second to last or last week of February. As for the “big” news. They say that literally every single time and have failed to actually give great news. Even if it comes to console that’s not exactly great news unless we have a ton of upgrades along with it. And I mean la tuff like I said before such as new powers, armor, better story, more storyline, improved story and not making the MC/Player a damn coward.

Like I said too. When it comes to console they better go all out or don’t bring it to console at all. Because people might try it. But if it has the same stuff as PC and everything it is not gonna be worth it and people will likely continue to play it on PC and not even touch the console version Free or not. I love Swtor it’s one of the only things keeping the original Star Wars legends alive. I grew up on it and the George Lucas (original) version of Star Wars. I’ve seen what other true star wars fans hate and like and what will immediately make them angry. IF the devs screw up and I mean one bad screw up. That will likely be the end and they lose everything. I say that because Star Wars itself in general game or show is in a very very stressful situation right now. The devs don’t release the fans and YouTubers they fire are giving them so many chances. But we have our limits

On top of that, Im still waiting on a video for you calling out other companies like WoW who will delete comments and ban accounts for those who just want to ask them when they will actually focus on their story element of the game.

Like I get it, youve conceded that youve seen WoW ban players (your words "stuff like that happens but its not as blatant as SWTOR) However those bans are okay since youll never call it out.

NarianaZone: I think VA Guild strike is the big issue. I also think they (DEVS) are also modernizing the graphics, and still picking up the pieces from the merger with Broadsword. As for content I think they may roll everything into one big content patch once the VA Strike is done. Broadsword is a small company, limited resources.

PoppaBones-r7u: I would continue to wait if they are working on a full on expansion with the long forgotten dynamic mission conversations instead of a "story" patch along with the boring storyboard text conversations in which the "story" patch will usually be completed in in less than 20 minutes ...If I wanted the storyboard interaction I would just play WOW.
