IeuroI: hey, the double hull furniture's effect isnt being used while beam supports is present. furnitures paired with ship's intrinsic abilities do stack (i.e. thr brigantine's bullhorn & iron clad hull [45% ram damage from bullhorn & 25% ram damage from iron clad]), but furnitures do not stack. the game takes which ever one gives more - so while the spirits locker also gives 7% added armour, it negates a partial of the beam supports armour ability, but because beam support gives 7% hull health, it negates doubleplancked.

just want to get this info out there so people can free up furniture pieces and utilise them to their fullest potentials.

beam supports has allowed me to free up space on anything that was using the compangie screens and spirit locker combo to just one slot. you lose the brace support, but that can be found elsewhere; sorta.

so just remember: ship's intrinsic abilities furniture = good
but,
two furnitures that give same/similar buffs and effects at the same time =/= an increased percentage.

the sambuk's firebug ability increases reload by 25%. so, bombard menuiserie and shell packing station are good.
they Do add their 7% percents to the sambuk's buff.

however, something like the lestari trophy (7% acceleration) balanced mast (8% acceleration), and lightened mast (13% acceleration), if you equipped all of these, it would only see the lightened mast's 13% increase and negate the rest - unfortunately we cant get a 28% acceleration increase; but that would be cool.

lforrest14: Like our conversation below, if you want to add survivability, add in the healing spring loader and sit in it (try to keep the center behind your ship in comparison to an enemy so it is less likely to get shot.
LordCarmesimXXVII: Some people figured out this very quickly, I stopped playing a lot for the last 2 weeks, because PvP is not fun going agains this.

Beldea98: All small ships should have 3 top gun ports like Sloop, feels quite limited having only 2 on broadsides, feels like we are meant to preffer medium ships instead of small ones. Idc small ships are a bit slower as it should, I want to be able use them as well as Sloop in PvE not just PvP
