myquest84: I played the prerelease trial and just wasn't impressed. The on land mechanics were pretty clunky and the initial missions that should have really plainly laid out how the game worked were just confusing.

Steeleye50: I'm a huge pirate buff and was really excited for this. When it came out, it was a massive disappointment but I put a good 100 hours in as it was nice just sailing around and getting into trouble. However, when Sea of Thieves came out I just started playing that instead as it's everything I've ever wanted in a pirate game, although I prefer the art style in Bones. I recently went back to Bones for the first time since season 1, and got bored again within about 30 minutes. There are new enemies and some slight changes to the core gameplay, but overall it's the same. It was designed akin to a mobile game to just get you grinding ad nasuem for better gear and microtransactions for your ship. There is no story, and there was no research done into privateer history. It's not a pirate game, it's an arcadey ship simulator with pirate cosmetics. That's it.

cosmicshatter91: I played for the first 3weeks and stopped went back for 1 week during its first event and quit again.... Haven't looked at the game since, I don't think they will be able to revive this, unless they fixed boarding and added some land combat and a few other things.

My honest review for Skull and Bones that Skull and Bones have a really good graphic and animation among all pirate game that i played but Skull and Bones lack of the most important thing for pirate game its "Pirate Life"

Not like SoT (Sea of Thieve) that the developer giving a lotnof pirate life to us player but lack of mechanism, while skull and bones have a lot mechanism in their arsenal but lack of pirate life.

Thats why most of the player who likes pirate game, give skull and bones review bad, because ubisoft lack of pirate life, thats my honest review for Skull and Bones

squeezydonutz: Skull and Bones is a really fun game. It's just not what people wanted or expected. If you can put wants and expectations to the side, it's really good. If you are looking for Sea of Thieves mechanics or Black Flag mechanics, then play those games.
