Atomy111: where is the other 97 hours Josh
paulofrota3958: Another video to help the Brazilian aviation industry.
J1mmy: do it again i wasn't lookin
_B_K_: Best third monitor video ever.
Metalicz: Hopefully a 100 hour video for the true experience.
martinprince8253: I'm buying a 4th monitor for this content
edladd212: 3 hours is pretty standard for a RuneScape video. I look forward to watching it several times while cutting redwoods.
patuni: A yes, the perfect video to put on the background of my Rs3 mining grind that is on the background of my OSRS TOA Grind
Nebesus: If it was osrs it'd be a video about how you got 80 agility.
RezhaarnoldBen: too short, we need a longer video Josh.
LuckyMatt: Can’t wait for the 6 hour video on the “I played Old School RuneScape for 100 hours”.
plus-boy: Very very fair review of the game, a lot of your criticisms resonate with me as a player of four or so years.
kajex7589: "It has a lot of flaws, because it has a lot of EVERYTHING." Excellent conclusion.
Vivi69880: nothing like cracking open 36-45 cold beers and watching a new josh upload!
JonesJGB: I needed a 3 hour background video while I do slayer tasks in OSRS. Thanks Josh!
boat02: Still waiting for the premiere to start. As to "should you," I'm actually curious. I heard things have actually improved since I stopped playing.
For me personally, I don't expect I'll go back. I've successfully escaped from the "nobody quits RS" meme. I stopped playing in September 2023, the month that the Hero Pass dropped. After that, I really only logged in once to do a wilderness event and capped resources for the clan citadel. I am very slow at getting myself to switch games, so for Jagex to convince me to drop what I'm doing and go back to RuneScape - that's a very steep task.
Playing other games had me realize just how much of the time I spent playing RS was really just me tolerating the things thrown at me. The grind is a big part of RuneScape's core identity and I was all for that, which kept me there for a decade. It was after I quit that I saw their efforts into asking players for their opinions. Perhaps they really did start listening to us. But again for me personally, that's a little bit too late.
With the exception of introspection, I'm personally terrible at being a critic. The things I've complained about tend to be in hindsight after someone else has brought it up. This holds true with the games I play, and the employee surveys I get at work.
UnknownName5050: as someone who came to fallout 76 from 4 and really didnt get or like mmo stuff, josh has helped me get it through the lense of other mmos and i adore his videos. so thankful for your work bro
TwistedRS: I just started an RS3 Ironman going for the Master Comp cape! Working on video #3 now. Crazy timing seeing this. Gives me a something to enjoy while editing.
Cidiusn: i prefer almost everything about rs3 compared to oldschool except the cashshop that pretty much destroy the whole reason for the game... i got pretty much maxxed iron man in rs3 no lootboxes or store or bonuses and what not... a dude starting 3 days ago can get everything i got just paying the lootbox store and selling bonds (which affects oldschool aswell) to gain everything i got for real money instead of ingame effort
lordfrogIII: Honestly, so much respect for knowing 90% of youtube is a 2nd monitor thing for many people, adjusting content to match that and still doing so much smooth video editing. Exactly why you are one of my top 3 youtubers
sophiaorr12: Ya know if you're going to keep dropping this 3 hour videos i'm going to start asking for chapters so I know where I left off when I fall asleep to your videos man lmao.
Good stuff as always can't wait to sit down and watch this.
lilwyvern4: Dangit Josh, you're going to make me fall down the Runescape rabbit hole again! I played this thing back when Classic was still in beta, before sounds, before membership. (A banner on the GamesDomain Castle, baybee!) I chose a race and class (elf mage, as it were, I started with a staff and a black mage hat) That account is older than 17% of your audience. And it just never leaves you. It's special. You can just about trace online culture and its evolution through it. There's a reason the Newbie Melody can bring a grown man to tears, Runescape is synonymous with unburdened childhood for millions, and in an increasingly dark world, that's something more and more precious than gold.
zundeesteed: "There are no classes in runescape" Me immediately crumbling into dust as i recall making my first account in Classic and picking a class.
theguyonyoutube4826: Might be the most hyped I've been for a video of yours
