way1tap23: being someone who has hit the highest rank in both. rocket league was definitely harder to master and hit ssl than champion. in siege you have more support from tm8's etc so like in champion you can 1v X alot easier than rocket league how being in ssl unbless you are pro its hard to win anything other than 1v1 1v2 is hard but doable. but 1v3 is very near imnpossible
thaddeus1519: RL pros are by far more impressive. No game is close to the skill gap in that game.
Piotr-iu3ee: RL is really hard because you have to improvise basically every play you make. You not only need high mechanical skill, but also very high level of creativity with the mechanics you have. With fps games you get to be creative too, but is way more structured creativity than full improvisation creativity. For FPS pros it is usually very easy to transition into other fps games (with multiple examples of pros moving between FPS esports) whereas the closest compatibility to RL would be very good racing game player and even then it would be just basic car control they can transfer as skill. With FPS you can become the best with 3 key factors - Game sense, Aim and Understanding of the tools you have and the map, with RL its Gamesense, Car control in the air and ground, countless mechanics, being able to predict opponents which also have unlimited ways of getting the ball past you and more. Every game is insanely hard to go pro in, but RL has to be up there as one of, if not the hardest to get to that stage.
