BladeTaylor: Very good video, as the former Bravado Gaming and WRG Coach I agree that the 2/3rd rule it important. The entire reason SSA got brought into RLCS was to develop the talent from that region. Imports should be welcome, but there needs to be a way to promote the SSA players to not only develop and grow, but to get international experience because that is the BIGGEST form of development a region like that can receive.

xeskillz4831: As a South African who has started trying to become pro in the scene, seeing an eu team take advantage just pisses me off for one main reason. If they beat someone at a lan, South Africans will have less pride in beating another team for the first time. Like let’s say they beat OG. That will be the first time an SSA team beats a North American team. But us as South Africans won’t feel pride as it’s a European team actually winning. It sucks man and I really want South Africans to be breaking the records of our own country.
Cody-Coyote: Another banger speech. Well done. I really hope something like the 2/3 or at least a 1/3 rule gets implemented next season. I think that is a fantastic way to at least mitigate the issue. Also, Rise calling YMC out on Chalked Cast a week before they tried to snipe Limitless was crazy. What a good call on his part.
somarafa9998: Imports can work if and only if the team that is imported moves to the region and scrims exclusively in the region. This is what happened with APAC, since there was no where else for them to scrim improvements could generally be made with the teams native to APAC and elevate (former elevate, now GG) generally got worse as their scrimming competition was lower than what they were used to.
At the moment, EU teams are getting to play against SSA teams in competitions with EU level of practice. which is just unfair.
I don't think you can or should ban teams from moving to countries to compete, and i think overtime if mobula do scrim inside of the region exclusively SSA talent will only get better, but that's only if all import teams that do not move are not allowed to compete.
