andrewbako9494: When they announced the launch date I said they need to get on top of this quick before there's a lot of confusion in the community. And here we are. I don't understand the need to keep how access is going to be obtained a secret.
matthewmcconaublaze7008: Woah, my man's voice dropped a whole octave
DesuSora: Imagine being a new player wanting to play PoE2 (which is what PoE2 wants to target) only to hear there is a pay wall stopping you from early access to a so-called free 2 play game, it's actually quite backwards from GGG
tenmamut: Like people already stated I think putting early access behind paywall would be a stupid move, but If it costs only 10$ or even 30$ I don't care I will pay. I wonder if all classes/weapons/skills will be playable for ea. I feel like they need to leave something for official launch or people won't be as exited for it.
The-Pleb: Insert "Shut Up and Take My Money!" meme
LlDDSLl: I would argue open for all implies free of charge, otherwise it is not open for all. It could be unclear communication but if it is indeed "open for all" you cannot add a paywall as it is then no longer for all
imsidvicious: There is something about redditors going back and forth about free game, early access, open beta, that is just entertaining. On another note, they need to just release the details for November 15th unless they are afraid it wont be ready by then?
Turmio1: Announcing Early Access date for a F2P game in front of a huge new audience at Gamescom, for it to then be not accessible for everyone would be a huge PR blunder.
OhSubzi: I’m pretty sure it’ll be free but we will have to wait and see. Really hoping it’s not $500 to get in. Will be a huge miss especially since they trying to get new players in on the action
mariomcp: Just wish they'd name their price, they know we're gonna pay it. Though, I've spent a bunch previously, so maybe I'll get in for free.
