In POE2 you are the vessel of the gem, Virtue Gem thaumarturgy of the Vaals has been achieved

This is not just a mechanic change based on IRL game development... this is based on a in-lore progression , thats really cool wether intentionnal or not

rawrisherz: I would be slightly hesitant to report that the POE2 early access will be fully open/free. Octavian did mention the beta would be "open" but I feel like that was more so to clarify that the beta wouldn't be a closed or "invite only beta" which was what the interviewer was insinuating. So it could conceivably be similar to their previous betas where it was guaranteed access if you bought a supporter pack. I'll be playing early access no matter what though! :)

rlowethewitch8417: Some archetypes I'd HOPE to see with the shadow is stuff like throwing knives, or maybe a support gem that grants something like increased crit against enemies not focusing on you, to give you that rogue feeling.

Khenal: While I want to see the shadow with traps and thrown weapons next, I expect they'll show off the templar next. ARPG fans are chomping at the bit for some holy archetype fun
