PPG87: New player to PoE 1 here, started in necropolis no build guide in SSF wanted to learn the game and all the systems. I just want to say for people worried about pace... I almost quit when I started cause PoE 1 seemed wayyyyyy to slow and it took me 70 hours to complete my 1st campaign. Now on my 5th or 6th character and currently completing it in 6-8 hours on a new character with no guide so please if your worried about the pace let's not jump to conclusions. If anyone can introduce reactive game play and speedy combat I know who I'm going to trust to do that.

Also PoE is the greatest game I've ever played in my 30 years of gaming and would recommend it to anyone who loves gaming

KahranRamsus: The one about GGG having PoE1 die after PoE2 comes out sounds like a hot take, and it may not be what GGG is intending, but a grain of truth could exist there. Elden Ring perfected the Dark Souls design. Elden Ring generally has 10x the players on Steam as Dark Souls 3.

It's not impossible to think that most people will realize that PoE1 being "Sonic the Hedgehog with extra steps" just isn't that good. PoE2 could take most of their player base, and any company in that position would have to allocate their resources accordingly.

Personally, I just want cool Armour skins that don't cost $25-130 CND anymore.

heaftysoul: Idk why people are surprised its literally the first acts and they are always slow even in poe1. We haven’t seen poe2 endgame, people are already assuming its bad without even having evidence its pathetic and im starting to realize the poe community is cringe and stupid.
