oithere5612: i didnt think you would make it through the stream, you looked like you were going to pop
bocheduszko: the gap between d4 and poe is giga huge..cant deny that
Complication84: I watched the D4 reveal before the PoE reveal, and holy shit what a difference in presentation and community reaction lol. The entire feed for D4 was not happy about Spiritborn, and all the Druid players were pretty pissed off. The PoE reveal was pretty hype. I'm excited to play Settlers, especially since melee is being reworked so I don't have to use those dumbass totems.
gregorybrazell5133: I think there is a really cool angle they might be going with that no other MMO or ARPG really has had (for the reasons you pointed out about sequels)- They can use each game to inform the other. Because they are the same, but NOT the same, they use a lot of similar mechanics or pieces of mechanics (just different use for the combination), in the same world, and a lot of other stuff...
This means they can supply information for a 'thing' from two different angles at all points. Like, say they introduced Sanctum for the first time (it never came out, but it's the same thing). PoE1 players would react to it like they did when it first came out. But, what would Sanctum look like for PoE2? Tons of differences might affect it, like how we can move while attacking... so, strategy is going to be extremely different. The drops, the currencies, and everything else has to change as well. So, GGG gets the PoE1 info for when they intro to PoE2 (and they would, I mean... why not? They already have it, and it isn't limited to any specific era, so...), and vice versa.
They get twice the perspective, which means this might actually be really GOOD for PoE as a whole, where we get tons of insight to make everything better for BOTH games. Also, this could be a great way to introduce a more linear story, as we are now building Kingsmarch which will play a major part of PoE2 (like I pointed out in another video of yours, about EQOA, EQ, and EQ2). We might start seeing more... progression of time and story, not just new leagues... but leagues with a plot of some kind.
Googeldybunkz: PoE 2 is gonna be the end of diablo and i bet many of diablo players will move to PoE2. I tried d4 this month for the first time ever and it was horrible compared to PoE and customer support was by the worst i ever seen in any game.
rockkiller124: Melee rework is a great change along with several other QoL updates, also already signed up for POE2
brian9801: Great video Tri!
LezArtist5iG: First time we have had a League that people will play all three months. Good play GGG
ulruc: Can't wait for you to show your bingo card to see how many items you got into that grid :)
LezArtist5iG: I don't like the idea of spending gold to Respec. We finally get a trade market to buy unlimited Respec points, and we can't LoL
atugak: I'll play the **
