Joulespersecond: If the items you get from shipping are unusable, throw them in the disenchanter. They are usually well-rolled. so worth a lot of dust.
Isabelle-mp8rk: for the wages, i want to add that people with mapping talents have radically higher wages than other talents so anyone with a secondary talent in mapping can have wages much higher than usual for their main talent.
tipep: Not sure if the wages part is true. I have one worker with just Farming 5 (Wage 175g/h) and one worker with both Farming 5 and Mining 4 (Wage 151g/h). Wage rolls seem to be random in a specific range for the most expensive Rank/Skill the worker has.
pwrmass3609: I just made sure there was always at least 1 person working on everything I had access to, upgrading whenever I had enough gold to upgrade and not bankrupt my town and I’ve never been locked by resources yet
netneo4038: The harbour may have some timegating to it, the ports request certain resources, and these seem to be a sort of tracker of how well you get along with them. the more you complete the higher the demand and the more stuff they seem to give you per shipment too. It's not entirely confirmed if that last part is true, but if it is, that's a time gate because you can only send out so many shipments to complete their demands and 'tier' them up.
tequilakitty100: "Little bit of an accident in there..." That's dark...
skevoid: I'm sure that worker wages are based entirely on their most expensive skill, not the sum of their skills. I have some workers who are too cheap for it to be the sum, for example a miner 3/farmer 2 that costs 24g/hour, I have two other workers that are just miner 3 and cost 25 and 31, and two workers that are just farmer 2 that cost 30 and 36.
