Gurgio: Most people don't realize just how much effort and resources creating unique enemies (let alone bosses) needs. There's a reason why games like Dragons Dogma 2 and Diablo 4 (and even Elden Ring to some extend) have trouble with this, they just can't justify the amount of time and money that goes into this. Wukong devs were talking about the number of unique bosses, and people were like "that sounds too good to be true", but they were basically unknown - and when GGG says that they have 90 unique bosses, you know that this game will be something special

YoChando: PoE 2 is such a large departure from PoE 1 purely on the basis of bosses. In PoE 1 bosses felt like another mob with a gold nameplate unless they were pinnacle or noteworthy bosses. In PoE2 every boss has an "aura" or "vibe" of them being a boss.

DanEvans-hc2be: When the art is dedicated art and gameplay is dedicated gameplay. You wind up with end products like this.
RetroMonger: Memory game is a fine mechanic. The problem is memory game with degen puddles, rotating, oscillating beams you need to dodge on top of it and just all the things happening at once on screen that prevents you from seeing which tile lights up.
