BuzzaB77: "we don't have crafting yet, we have identifying in multiple steps" - Palestron. Couldn't have said it better.
elindred: I don't mind slower gameplay, but the monsters didn't get the same memo.
jzd977: Lol all the streamers wanting the nerf to come to all the powerful builds here are insane to me. The one of the key components to aRPG is grinding and farming, if I have to be on the edge of my seat for every single map/dungeon/zone, guess how long would I play the game for? Right now, we don't have the same defensive layer like POE 1, we don't have the 6 portals, we don't have the deterministic farming and crafting mechanisms, all we have is a few powerful builds that kill things faster than they kill you, and you are saying you want them nerfed? Just...wtf.
majorbloodlol: wudijo's take on needing to do bad maps in order to enjoy good ones is crazy considering the only thing i enjoy mapping wise in poe1 is running my favorite map 1000 times in a row
BaalZepar: What you have currently is a worst variant of alteration spamming cause you need a new base for every alt orb ...
Countryworkingman: Hey Wudi if you want to fight the boss more then 5min let me make your build trust me I got you buddy.
Duoghan: Agreed, boss access is badly tuned. Selling key is exactly what I did. Sold the key and bought the armour i need was not the best to but had the stats i wanted. No point of risking the fight. Still made a profit as well.
johnthebarbarian: What really fucking bothers me about grenades is they dont have the same collision as the player. What that means is that on maps like swamps/poison pool maps/towers/ any map with a cosmetic "hole" that appears like a wall to a player, every single time, your grenades go through the wall into the cosmetic "hole" and essentially out of bounds doing no damage.
Axterix13: I think the biggest issue facing PoE2 right now is that it has SO MANY issues that you can't tell where one ends and the next begins. Like we can all agree that armour is underpowered, that's easy, but ES? Some will say it is OP. Others like myself think certain interactions with it, like items that give you ES after you picked a node that got rid of it, are what need fixing. But will ES still be what it is now if instant screen clearing builds get obliterated? If we actually have to interact with the mobs? And there are so many issues like that, where one problem makes another thing look problematic, or makes it a mountain of what should be a molehill... if the compounding issue was fixed.
Beyond that, they need to majorly address loot related stuff. Skill slot upgrades are way too hard to come across. Waystones can be very problematic to find. The best route to loot should not be trading, nor should it be mass quantities of mobs slaughtered as quickly as possible, and so on.
As far as a reset/new-league goes, I think there's no point to it just yet. Like right now, they need to majorly revamp the end-game, rebalance a bunch of things. And after they do that, then it is worthwhile to let us play with it as is, to see how things play out, and address any big issues that instantly reveal themselves. And only once that data is in, then you do a new league, so you can fine tune.
I do want to see a few more melee focused weapons added ASAP. Right now, we only have maces (Monks are basically a ranged with a boss delete button in the Bell). Mace just feels... bad, but regardless, we need a few other melee weapons so we can get a better feel as to what is a mace problem, and what is a "GGG hates melee" problem.
StellarScienceCosmos: the speed of the mobs need to slow down. IMO
sirrubbers5797: Crafting bench needs to come back
Jmerithew87: One idea I had with towers and tablets if they’re committed to this infinite Atlas system is that tablets can be the mechanism that uncovers the fog of war, and they determine what biome that chunk of the map is going to have. This would allow you to shape your own world and have more agency when you’re looking for certain layouts or hunting a specific citadel.
esquillo3708: A tower should be a normal map, with the tower device in it, and even better if it had a boss before the tower device
tromend: On the Tier mechanic for items usage: Can't we just get Tiered bases? Is it such a cardinal sin? Can't we just drop bases that have a "X Times" Multiplier to the "likelihood of higher tier mods rolling on this." This just would make crafting 10 times better, you'd be chasing those high tier bases, you'd spend your currency you'd gamba the same if not more. You'd USE ANNULS.
germalganis: Essences are really bad right now, I wish they were like "Can only be used on a magic item. Remove a non physical modifier, add a physical modifier". "Can only be used on a rare item. Remove a non fire modifier, add a fire modifier"
ExiledVessel: Blast Cast Anonymous
Zizaran: Hello I am ZIzaran and I am an addict.
rickfowler273: Rax is right. How the game feel for all the normal players out there? How does it feel for the 300,000 people out there that are just playing normally? The top 5,000 should not be the outlier.
adriaandavel9540: Here's a request, allow me to assign a move option to a mouse button when I use WASD. I love the idea of using WASD in combat, but moving with mouse is convenient too
sirdoobiehowzer3888: Honestly went and played LE and PoE1 yesterday just for a gag, wanted to see how the games compare after I spent weeks with PoE2. I can’t believe how much more fun LE and PoE1 are than PoE2.
PoE2 is actually frustrating to come back to play after spending yesterday with the other two.
I have actual crafting in the other games, I have combat that is snappier and more responsive in the other games. The gear is more impactful because of the fact I can craft. The games feel more balanced in their scaling into endgame, no random ass spikes of one shot hits for no reason. LE has a huge advantage that I don’t have to edit a fucking word doc to adjust my loot filter. Feels like i’m living back in 1998 whenever I have to do something like that.
PoE2 basically tried to merge the endgame from PoE1 with a LE system, but ends up being worse versions of both games. The “infinite” mapping thing works for LE because you can actually RESET the timelines and kind of work the timelines to be what you want them to be. Not in PoE2. You just pick a direction and fuck off that way forever.
Performance is also bad. I get 200 frames all the time in LE and PoE1, whereas I drop down to ~60-70 frames when stuff starts happening heavily in endgame in PoE2. That is unacceptable for my hardware.
Honestly, until they patch the game and either make big changes or reworks to stuff, I think I’m actually done with the PoE2 hype train shit. It’s an objectively worse tier game than its predecessors, and that sucks. The only thing the game has going for it is “graphics”, which in my opinion is literally the least important part of a good ARPG experience. Diablo 2 looks like horse shit, but the game is phenomenal. PoE2 looks like a perfectly cut diamond, but breaks into pieces of fecal matter when you pick it up.
In short. LE PoE1 > PoE2 >D4
D4 is still bad lol.
sethjones6711: It desperately needs a patch
flowqi212: Wudi finally said it "D4 has a better crafting system"
Tillymander: I feel like the atlas could be solved by actual map items to better control the biomes in a certain area like a terraforming orb to replace orb of horizons or something. So you still have to play the atlas as it was intended but you gain some level of control for layouts that don't straight brick your build.
collinpavle654: I refuse to buy anything off the trade website but I do like selling stuff for currency that’s my logic
