redeyedjedeye949: Stoked for Friday. This is PoE. Doesn’t matter if it’s 2 or 1. This is how it goes every season. New content, new meta, new market, new start. Out with the old, in with the new. Game would be so lackluster otherwise.
PAMELA-n3y: Ty for 89,000 sub
kooshappreciator4773: Rip hexblast, skill went from being clunky but playable to unusable
twistedbydsign99: grenade cooldowns got nerfed 3s to 7s. Im gonna be drawing on my 401k before a grenade goes off.
lincolnjohnson4428: You forgot Grim Feast is removed from Game.... ES builds ded.
wolfves2280: as I mainly played crossbow those bugs not being told about is just plain dumb, at least let us know these are known bugs this is like not telling about the vase you broke until you get a replacement cuz mom would be angry.
miklaz1199: Basically GGG said "Please play a slow melee this time"
PotatoGuidanceMissle: In all honesty, people just got too comfy with their builds over the 3-4 months, thinking their stuff wasn't gonna get touched because they weren't touching anything due to player backlash. I'm super excited for this patch.
DjBlaze3d: flameblast nerf really stinks for one of the 100% demon form infernalist builds. it was literally the only ability you used now that build is completely broken Dx
ryanbrothers5377: WAY too many nerfs to minions, makes me not even want to play anymore.
Kandidat1999: And of course one of the most important one you missed, Grim Feast has been removed completely, will return in a later patch
Seinglede: I was expecting the GGG double, or even triple tap for Archmage, but I will admit I didn't expect a never before seen GGG octuple tap. Guess we are all playing Crossbow builds this go around. Spellcasters in general seem pretty gutted. Running a lightning caster setup already felt a bit rough in the middle parts of the campaign beforehand. With Spark and even Arc being taken out back and buried alive in Archmage's grave, I'm genuinely wondering if the average person could even reliably clear the campaign using either of those as main skills going forward. Then again, I didn't see any buffs to the chaos DoT skills and they were pretty terrible so I guess that's just where GGG wants casters to be in this version of the game.
AquaShibby3000: Oh, wow.. I went with Merc and was looking at Witchhunter wanting to focus on crossbows, but I got to a point where there was just nothing I could do to get my damage up, and it felt like 'nothing was working'. I'm glad to see that it was hella bugged, because it was super unfun.
landonperry9371: I had that exact reaction to flame blast lol. As someone who started explosive shot deadeye on launch I feel like that builds gonna cook. It was already pretty good and didn't really get any nerfs that we can see maybe some gem changes and crossbows got buffed.
privategaming2105: It's insane to see a lot of people complaining about slower gameplay when PoE2 was indeed intended to be a slower PoE. I mean, PoE still exists if you want quicker combat. It's not like slower game is bad. See No Rest for The Wicked.
It all depends on the execution.
sal1764: MTX BUFF LESGOOO!!!
karnazacss: I like your positive attitude instead of the "oh boosted divine builds won't be able to insta clear the game" negative attitude. Subscribed. Btw you didn't include that now active blocking a strike with a shield with the correct timing it dazes enemies, that's how you stun bosses faster.
RussianRainbow: Might be time to load up a melee character? I'm ready for my 32 hour campaign WICKED.
epthomas2701: RIP Infernalist's fire doge.
MrBuns-yi2hk: I honestly have no clue what they were thinking with this patch. It feels like they nerfed everything, good or bad, and didn't really buff any of the skills that are absolutely atrocious. You can not convince me that any of the fixed attack time skills will ever be good.
Bringing down power this match feels really bad when monsters are still crazy strong.
bigimportantman1544: As someone who just played my own non-meta build for my first character… the game is just more fun when your power level doesn’t trivialize the intended gameplay loop.
Running a stat-stacking HoWa build is fun for like 10 minutes… but then it just feels like you’re playing on Grandma difficulty mode.
It would be like if Elden Ring accidentally left a secret chest after LimGrave that gave you 50 levels worth of experience and all the best armor/weapons.
Patching that chest out of the game ensures that everyone actually gets to enjoy the game; especially for the players who can’t resist the urge to look up everything that min/max’s their power-level to the extent that you can literally just faceroll the keyboard instead of engaging with any combat mechanics.
birdythang: Thank you for not wasting our time. Dropping a sub just for that
6789uiop: Good news. Been practicing early game with warrior.
MrKippers: I think the patch notes did their job for shaking up the meta. I bet the builds used in this patch will be unrecognizable compared to 0.1. But in terms of changing the unfun parts of the game for the better, I didn't see much improvement this patch. The map layouts seem to be unchanged, the well problem
williamlowery1337: No armor fix huh. RIP warrior still
