savitarr1162: dying= lose 10% exp, lose your map, lose your map mods, lose all the loot not picked up = NOT FUN
l0rcas: Finally a good basic/intermediate overview of the endgame without going into min maxing everything while forgetting the basics of it.
I would love you forever if you could do a video of each style of mini-game the endgame has to offer.
TehOnionGod: I like new character progression much more than the endgame.
The endgame is lacking on many aspects.
BobMotster: Losing experience upon death is such a stupid thing.
Paelmoon: I got bored having to repeat the campaign a second time and gave up tbh.
juggernaught79: So fun to almost complete a map but to only get insta-killed by some aoe blob or explosion from a dead enemy - melee woes….
Slayunso: Good video but your thumbnails are misleading as they are most of the time :(
yujirohanma7551: The thumbnail is so clickbait
phillipkoch5751: Tip 11...be prepared to be disappointed and get nothing for your time
ShaneMcGrath.: 10% xp loss on death is too high, No point pushing and using all your good stuff when you just die from a mini boss mechanic off screen and then lose 3 hours of progress.
It starts getting ridiculous past lvl 80 to the point I find I just play too conservatively to avoid dying, Not exactly fun.
GGG should lower it to 3-5% penalty, 10% is too much even for experienced players and if they want more money and casuals playing they need to tone it down a little in my opinion.
TheHexIV: As others have said the XP penalty is ridiculous. It just wastes player time and can be many hours later (which is also ridiculous by the way... Needing hours to get 10% of a level is also ridiculous). I understand POE is all about harsh play and it's for the no lifers out there. But they said this was for more casuals and if they want to keep this base of players (and get their money) they need to get rid of it or make a Ruthless mode that's not hard core but does have XP loss. Make everyone happy.
tiemanowo: I'm more a "create new character" type person. This is an Early Access so I want to be familiar with other clases before final release of the game.
AndreKarlsen-d7v: What does the exp penalty for a death achieve? How does that mechanic make the game more fun? That and the trade system are the main reasons I don’t enjoy the game past lvl 70.
OldGoat-cw8he: They need to integrate the end game activities with endgame leveling. We need to be progressing in our atlas trees for Breach as we are doing higher tier waystones. It needs to be hand in hand. Being 80 running 13 waystones and only have 39 breach splinters. I know how to juice and make big maps. I should be a couple points into my atlas for breach. Ritual is just suicide. Get thrown in a phonebooth with a bunch of enemies doing full screen Aoe chaos explosions. You can't dodge, you are stuck. They just lazy ported the numbers and mechanisms from 1 and that's why these systems are all just a bit off. I dislike pretty much everything about the endgame and find putting ascension behind Ultimatum and Sanctum almost a deal breaker uninstall moment. I DESPISE these mechanics in AN ARPG IT ISN'T A ROGUE LITE
xerodragon21: 3rd and 4th ascendancy are fucking aids...i bought my monks for 40 exalted. Would much rather lab come back and be the ascension mechanic than ultimatum or the sanctum garbage
mikey57262: Today I am deciding to call it quits on the game for 3 reasons. But i am also open to convincing because i see the potential in poe2.
I am a level 85 infernalist witch playing some higher end maps, but i think its time to pause on POE2.
1) the end game is so repetitive. Yes, there is RNG variance but the maps and regular map bosses are all the same just recycled with variance. There are 14 map layouts and even less map boss types you will end up playing over-and-over-and-over again. I’ve enjoyed it for many hours but that fun is starting to dry up.
2) the end game is not rewarding. Players spend all this time grinding the game to beat these bosses and level up, but the loot drops from beating bosses and leveling up is complete trash most of the time. Boss fights are fun, but when you realize the bosses mean nothing, drop nothing for you. and its just this unrewarding rinse and repeat cycle. Adding rarity still means 90% of gear dropped is not better than what you have on. As a player i need to be enticed to keep playing a grinder like this. Last night i was mapping and completed a lvl 15 juiced up waystone, beat the boss, he drops nothing to make my character better or equip just stuff im going to scrap for material, and i actually stepped back to ask myself what am i doing here?
3) the end game trading system NEEDs to be used if you want to actually make significant improvements to your character. There is tiniest likelihood you will get all the gear you want with the proper roles from loot drops and crafting yourself, but vast majority of higher tier players all use the trade system. This makes playing the game and the rewards we get so insignificant i would almost rather just not get loot drops at this point unless its a god tier item. I guess this ties into point 2 where I am just feeling the insignificance of playing this game as more time goes on.
covw9444: Honestly for me I find mapping a little boring. Its much more exciting to create a new character and try different builds but im definitely low in currency T.T
andreh4859: I really hate the rituals. Most of the times they are crampt into the environment reducing the space even further. I died so often to these I stop running them. And then loosing all modifiers on maps on dying really crushes me every time. It sucks so much.
suiyan6297: I came for the tumbnail, and yet it was shown nowhere in the video.
apoc9ify: I tried to create new character, but it is kinda boring on anything else except monk so far. Important tip I have discovered recently. In delirium you drop these pots to imbune your amulet. You can use them to boost your maps further. It makes the map delirium like (you want to use orange, yellow one). Also after you take node for specific biome you can "target farm" certain items. This way if you farm grass biome such as hidden grotto you can get gem upgrade i.e. jeweler's orbs. If you wanna try the trial of Shekhema for final ascendancy you need the token lvl 75 , which can drop on map with monsters 75 and do 4 stages. The final stage is noticeably harder than 1-3 so either you need to have lot of damage to kill boss fast or have 30-35 movement speed (you can get some on relics or 40 boon - if lucky) to be able survive one-shot mechanic the boss do.
Ze-lt2vs: Also I forgot to mention… the craftgambling system sucks A LOT
sarangunya: Which endgame? Ah countless running the same maps. I hope there will be an enjoyable endgame at normal release.
tushargarg9219: What's the extra inventory space to the left of your inventory window? How do you get that?
DeathstarsEG: I did all the quests for the map points up to the T15 maps and I quit......its so boring!!! This game needs PvP arenas/Better endgame.
IglooCrafter1: your vids have been helpful, this is the first time ive ever been in the end game of games like these, i usually dont get far, thanks alot
joeshmoe7485: I'm on the Tier 4 maps now and I don't know how much longer I'm going to keep playing... I enjoyed the campaign and looking forward to acts 4-6 getting released... But the endgame seems grindy and not very much fun. I haven't really found any items to use as upgrades since I completed the campaign. Everything that drops is trash or a side-grade at best. So, endgame is less fun than the campaign and I don't think I'll be playing it too much longer.
kekgot: I actually really prefer the Trials and Ultimatums personally over mapping. I've always loved playing rogue likes, so having those are really cool.
