Civitas Citizens - Waiting for the child to distract Citizens gets you about 30 seconds of continuous thieving xp. Rates around 50-60k/xp per hour. You also gain house keys which is an even bigger xp gain described next.

You then use those house keys to rob citizens houses. You can stay on one chest for almost 60 seconds with a random chest boost netting you 630xp. After 170~ seconds you leave and head to the next house. This is anywhere from 80-90k xp per hour.

This makes it afkable for 20 minutes at a time instead of 5 minutes.

I can literally use remote desktop for hours like this, just opening it once per 20 minutes.

Also missed out on the new afkish thieving method in Varlamore with the wealthy citizens

Amethyst mining with expert gloves is also now pretty afk since they updated it.

detourdunndee7753: You can also do barbarian fishing outside Chambers of Xeric, which has a bank chest and deposit box very close by. With fishing barrel it's much less tedious to just run to the bank and back than to drop the fish. Best way to get 99 imo. Cave Eels right next to fairy ring AJQ are similar to Karambwan in that their fishing spot doesn't move, but have the added benefit of being slightly more xp/hr, take longer to fill your inventory (more afk time), and take feathers not Karambwanji.

SimonRobeyns: that logout timer is an absolute gamechanger in general, knowing u can go for a piss or a cig and not having to worry about constantly being logged out after checking wiki or a youtube vid after being distracted is just amazing

SimonRobeyns: Try and get a fish barrel, karamja gloves 3 and ardougne cloak to fish karambwans with the scroll thing for extra fishing %,

this way you can fish 2 whole inventories, one click gloves to deposit everything in a bank after the long AFK and just head back to the spot with a dramen staff once you use ardy cloak.

It's still super AFK and is pretty profitable!
