drgeorgezervas: Tbf Lost Ark's gameplay loop is really in line with the western mindset. The problem is that its not localised and still has the crazy predatory fomo P2W design from KR. It's so easy to make it much more accessible but AGS/SG don't seem to want to take the short term monetary hit for a better long term playerbase

itisthefear: i dont think that P2W is the issue with lost ark, aside from Amazon's mistakes with Lost Arks launch back in Argos/Pheon gate, etc. The core issues with the game come from KR and this is how the game is designed. Amazon cannot create new content for players to play. The western playerbase doesnt like grindy games. EVen if the game was completely F2P it still wouldnt maintain a big population.

Despite what people are saying, lost ark is still doing okey for a 3year old game 25-30k CCU is okey for a mid-tier niche MMO. It was never going to compete with seasonal MMOs like FFXIV and WoW anyway.

Despite all these mistakes, over the past 4-6months AGS seems to have been getting the hang of things with Lost ARk and all recent announcements show their determination to keep the game alive in the west and for me that's enough.
