Zepla watches LARANITYS Video on 5 Biggest MISCONCEPTIONS About Guild Wars 2

EnzoVinZ: If you think GW2 has the best mount, wait until you see what players can do with housing. The amount of control they are giving players are insane -- really puts FFXIV housing to shame.

7ravi: Someone who's played almost every popular mmo, I always go back to GW2, to me its got the Elden Ring effect, its so good you cant help but compare others to it- The fluid combat and actually alive world with players everywhere feels so nice

gathaspar2831: GW2 feels the most populated to me. WoW zones are empty, FF14 zones are empty. All players sit in cities or instances so Azeroth and Eorzea are completely dead and empty. Tyria gives me that classic WoW feeling where anywhere you go you see players doing stuff. Oh yeah, and after GW2 all mounts in FF14 look ugly and cheap.

nielsjensen4185: You can. The item is called Furoicious Cat Ears and can be found on the BLTP from time to time.

Also, the new expansion has housing tech that makes FF14's housing system look like a cheap campsite. You can find videos that showcase what you can do. The housing system is basically, "Here's a plot of land with some stuff in it and here are the dev tools to place and manipulate the decorations you place."

dullahandan4067: I get that dawntrail msq was bad but guild wars 2 writing is so so so so so much worse. Forces you to be even dumber than the WoL.

DigitsRPG: As someone who plays both FFXIV and GW2. What I want for FFXIV from GW2 is the MEGA Server.

Also, more voiced content.

user-mq4oq3yr7v: I wish ff14 managed to try and get at least a step closer to the GW2 glamour system... For me it's what i dislike the most in ff14 and suffer for it

LumenPsycho: Living World makes it difficult for new players to get into the game.

Makes them feel like they have missed SO MUCH. Which they have..

I was there at the start for a few years. Game is quite solid & honestly a lot of fun.

Recommend to try it out if you're more into the gameplay aspect & not too invested in the story.

apex403: Guild wars 2, since it's launch, has been my "comfort food" mmo. I always end up coming back, playing for 4-6 months, then taking a break for another few months. But when I come back, I never feel lost or behind - and I adore that.

hovsep56: the problem with gw2 is the horizontal progression, it's nice that you do not have to farm gear anymore once you at the top, but problem is after that all you really grinding for is cosmetics, and for alot of people grinding for just cosmetics is just not fun, it feels empty, sure that sword is shinier but the changes are just skin deep.

like why should i do this world boss or do this strike when all i get is just a cosmetic. and another currency out of the thousands where you buy even more cosmetics with or whatever random crafting ingredient (which is used to just make another skin).

you can go for legendary weapons but it's such a small difference that it might aswell just be a skin, which is it is....cause they treat it like a skin, they have a wardrobe for players just for legendary weapons.

then comes the difficulty, once you reach the top in gear and made basicly your build... you're set for life, you are basicly never gonna die in the overworld or instances except in raids doesn't matter how many expansions they releasing.

also there aren't alot of raids either, they take a long time to make so devs hardly add any.

then there is the horrible server problems gw2 with story instances where for some reason people get disconnected out of it having to do whole thing again.

also the dyeing system and transmog sucks balls, the transmutation tokens can just suck it. and too many convieniences are locked behind the cash shop.

also her excuse that you can get everything in the cash shop comes with a caviat, be prepared to farm the silverwastes for DAYS or weeks selling crafting mats for gold to convert to gems to get anyhing from the store.

the game is heavily front loaded, once you first start, you'll get overwhelmed but once you reach max level, did the story and engage in the "endgame" you will notice the flaws and lose the motivation to play.

also the constant mastery progression is also a half lie, most masteries are just exlusive to the tiny zone you are in and lately the devs have only been focusing on just adding masteries that do not help too much outside the expansion zone. making em pointles to even get. the mounts from path of fire and the glider from heart of thorns is all you gonna be using.

last thing i wnna mention is that the game fell off heart after heart of thorns, all the new zones they release are just a one time done kinda deal, all the stuff you can grind there bring so little rewards and gold that it becomes almost impossible to find players to do the group content with. devs have stopped making rewarding farmable zones because it would make it too easy to earn gems and buy things from the shop for free.
