traveling.down.the.road56: So every profession has one elite specialization that you like enough to put in S tier, except for Ranger and Thief. Interesting list Laranity. I’ve been playing GW2 pretty much nonstop since about 7 months after launch, and I have 27 characters, but I haven’t taken the time to unlock every elite specialization yet, so I think I should work on that and try all of them out.

Health10001: Lara, you have to try Power Quickness Deadeye with the Spear!

It's as fast as normal thief rotations, but forgiving in a way Thief/Deadeye has never been, and has 11/10 flavor.

Stealth Attack refunding initiative and 3/3 (3 skill finisher, Shattering Assault) stealthing you means you can mend mistakes/handle mechanics as needed.

3/2 (Vampiric Slash) is an unbelievable self healing tool, and something Thief has never had before, and is something power spear builds naturally use as part of their rotation.

Sp4 comboing like GW1 "post-finisher attacks" feels spot on, and it lets you spam 3/2 (Vamp Slash) repeatedly to push through damage periods.

The icing on the cake is that it slots into the existing P/P Quickness DE build, so you always have a great ranged/simpler option whenever you want it.

hadaar_: I've similarly found that Renegade requires a lot more effort than Herald for a similar outcome in many cases. I also really like being able to bring Herald's boons to open world events. I should really level more classes/specs so I can try out some of the other stuff on this list since all I have are the heavy armor classes.

alexhin4083: Harb is s tier because shroud copies your weapon projectile. Klobjarne, meteorologicus, ebonhawke crossbow projectiles are great or just straight up shoot twilights!

KevinKanthur: I watched all this as a new player who doesn't know almost anything about the game. I'm playing a core build because I don't have the hero points to play something else but this made me really look forward to playing Holosmith later on (I'm playing engineer). Eventually I'm gonna try out Scrapper and Mecanist but the most exciting one is Holosmith.

dfg12382: Weaver is overrated. It is just a normal rotation with more button presses, there is no interesting or unique mechanic behind it. Having little HP, CC and other utility isn't fun either. To me, all specs that have a simple static rotation with just a weapon swap (Spellbreaker, Soulbeast, Dragonhunter...) feel very similar and rate the same in terms of fun.
