Akashua_Bloodriver: Ele spear sounds like FF14 black mage where if you want to do your highest damage skill you gotta put down your ley-lines and cast a couple spells and then cast your highest damage skill. Which honestly sounds really fun and rewards careful timing during mechanics since you have to stay in the middle of the circle for it to count towards getting the full powered spell.

That mechanic where mesmers need to hit enemies at the outer ring of the aoe? Everyone will complain that it's clunky, especially with high ping, then they'll simplify it to "gain clarity per target hit"

maximetauran3415: To avoid problems with red circles with Ele spear 5, they could just have the lines of the spell circle without those colored effects all around it.
