Orakio: That bear-bee picture was crafted suspiciously quickly for something so well drawn.
shonefob: I dont know if there is anything, but I keep making a connection between the twin brother and sister titans and the twin brother and sister dead white mantle. Decima and Cordelia Mae's voice actor even sounds a bit the same. Although GW2 has a habbit of sharing voice actors and the only connection I could make is that we see the Titans feeding on the Bloodstone we know there souls are trapped inside I guess. Just weird for them to introduce two fraternal twins in one story. (I dont really know if the Titans are confirmed twins, but I assume they are the same age and we know they call each other brother and sister.)
JeffHzak: the juxtaposition of your serious musing about snargle's personal life and immediately after realizing that the book you were reading was literally about a bee was the hardest i've ever laughed at a GW2 video.
DemethVLK: Little info I found, in Greek Mythology, Aura is a Titan than birthed... Twins.
jtorres6: As I was watching this episode I came across a couple of ambient dialogs about Tyria´s constellations.
In the Bastion of the Natural, north east of the Waypoint. There are a Djinn and a human talking about the Flamebearer constellation, that just appeared a month before SOTO, and it is apparently a good omen for the Kodan. The other one is also in the Bastion of the Natural in the POI just below the Waypoint. They mention that the sky seems busier than usual and that they don´t recognize some of the starts.
My theory that those new stars might be realms/planes that can reach Tyria now that the Elder Dragons are gone.
ozirus3344: Side note - I've always loved the Q&A-as-we-go model. I think its unique and does build a community feel
windingtwilight: Speaking of dragon in the egg! For saltsprays, in particular Kuunavang, wasn’t there another such dragon in Elona, that is a random Elonian, Goren, who found a dragon egg that came from Cantha and eventually hatched. He named the dragon Shiny and could actually speak! He would say he’s hungry and that Goren was his mom and that Goren would take him to a hidden city.
sl5945: You know, you read a comment about the Commander being 'without purpose' after EoD and Aurene going to sleep, and thus perfect for Isgarren to recruit. It makes me feel like he might be playing the Commander or at least was somewhat targeting us rather than us just happening to stumble upon the Astral Ward camp just outside of Lions Arch at the start of SotO. (The most active hub on all of Tyria and they're just outside the gate? Convenient.)
He seems to have a track record for picking up 'down & out' beings of power... Mabon, Eparch, Zojja & now we know Waiting Sorrow as well (interesting parallel to the Mursaat with Saul here maybe?). I mean, that Elona fractal in Skywatch was a test of what would happen if the commander died, right? So we know he was well aware of the Commanders power level and had been tracking us. (I cant remember if it was also testing if the commander was turned bad via raising by Joko) Will he attempt to ascend us too? Another ulterior (maybe mischievous) motive? To get closer to Aurene? He had a relationship of some sort with Glint as you talked about in this episode. Or, if it was a plan to lure us into his Court under the guise of US discovering HIM, was it JUST to help deal with the Kryptis?
march638: Do you think the ultimate setup will end up being something like:
Soo Won created Tyria (one world among many). Due to presence of enormous magical energy on Tyria (which is why its special), it got a lot of attention from entities able to travel between worlds and was colonized and settled by all the different races. Humans, Kodan, Dwarves (and maybe others) were brought over from other world by their deities. Mursaat, Seers, Forgotten were able to settle it themselves. Minor races and creatures were either born of Tyria or filtered through the Mists from other world unwittingly.
ps. I love how much our character comments on the environment in Syntri. Feels very Withcer-esque
KooriSaru: Hey WP, first of all, love the streams, keep going :)
Then as promised, on the same cliff as the mastery point south of harvest plots [&BOQOAAA=] in Lowland Shore is a camp fire with same bear cubs. They will tell the story, why they don't have a voice anymore or rather some backstory to waiting sorrow.
It's just some ambient dialoge that starts when you appoach, so be aware as it isn't printed in chat.
