edit: I do think it has to be emphasized again that those recipes are indeed very rare to come by and unless you really fall in love with dungeons most players won't come across them. Additionally those most valuable recipes are actually unobtainable these days due to bugs. I think a more reliable way to use the tokens is to buy rares from the vendor and then salvage those into ecto. That's what many of the regular dungeoneers I know do unless they're hoarders.
