schmidt_gaming: I have never been to old LA outside of story quest so I can't judge that. But new LA in Mold seems scuffed. You have all those jumping puzzles, a skimmer race, it is easy to use as a hangout and it is actually still used by a lot of people. Really don't see how this could be worse than any city map aside from old LA and Divinity's Reach.
alingaidin1473: Bloodstone Fen has been ruined by the Skyscale. Using the glider to navigate this map was some of the most most fun I had up to that point in the game
leela1990: This tierlist is pretty MOLD tbf. It doesnt say much about content quality, mostly nostalgia speaking for you two. You rated Orr high not keeping in mind how it aged, same about most of Tyria content, then in HoT you suddenly care how it aged?
Orr experience SUCKS these days. Content is bugged, metas hard to understand, nothing makes sense or point you in right directions. Most of the core maps are fine, they are on similar level and its just personal taste which visuals and hearts you liked most, but in the same time 90% of the expansion and LS maps are way better than any core maps. They have better story, visuals, content, more people around and they are generally there's more to do than just run around and complete bunch of objectives.
There's nothing wrong with new LA. You might dislike design, true, but it's perfectly fine and convinient home city.
dragostuff: How can you put any HoT map higher then Mold. They all suck.
Dungaipara: Draconis Mons, Verdant Brink, Tangled Depths were some of the most insane maps when you had to actually learn how to navigate them. I still stand with the idea that mounts should have been restricted to its own expansion maps only.
OleksandrProkhorovskyi: New Lions Arch most chilliest and beautiest city in the MMO. With a lot of stuff to explore. Ships-based architecture looks rich and stunning as was in Old LA.
Mannetasi: I'm gonna need some popcorn for this tierlist :D
StoganNZ: I'm fairly sure that company gw2 gets to do their articles actually stream their play throughs of games. Their name escapes me, mmo something, they have vods on youtube
cloudcleaver23: Wait, how do you see the old Kessex Hills? I thought that was irretrievably gone.
