InquisitorThomas: I kinda hope one of them is in a Hildibrand Questline, getting roped in the Inspector’s shenanigans, and is obviously scared shitless anytime the WoL is on screen.
nathanvalley7269: “Dragged to Hell by a simp.” Truly the worst way to go.
Puccakid4: I’d like to think Deudalaphon was partially responsible for the creation of Alexandria and the use of Electrope
LifestreamSeekers: Ironically, in a custom tabletop story we do with friends, we created a character out of Halmarut as one of our main vilains ^^
mareb324: Imma just drop my thought here, I think Altima is running the Arcadion. Like I think they are the President we haven’t seen yet!
danlockhart6465: A clean loop \o/
Great short, both informative and funny
PrinceLukai: I dont want them to return because their story is done but it would be fun for one of those to show up as a side character just to see what they're doing now.
Xorua: Supposedly Emmerololth is still alive but the source for that is about as reliable as the source for their involvement in Eureka to begin with (that is to say I can’t find one)
nerdychocobo: the ascians have become one of my favourite parts of this game. I never expected to like emet selch as much as I do now when I started shadowbringers
talancorwell: I'd honestly love one if the Ascians as a recurring anti-villain for the next few expansions. Sometimes as our enemy, sometimes having aligning goals with ours, but with the power of an Ascian they can just pop in and out whenever. I think it'd be fun!
ManiakGear: "Got remembered" :.(
cataclysmicacedia824: It should be noted some of the other shards of the dead ascian's may have been risen the last time we saw them all together in the rift.
aeoniangears372: TECHNICALLY, the only Ascians we can say are FOR SURE, FOREVER gone are the Unsundered 3 (Emet-Selch, Lahabrea, and Elidibus), as all others could simply be made anew from another of their shards. Emmerololth is even present in a meeting AFTER the disappearance of the Isle of Val, which supports this explanation unless you want to call it a retcon. There is, however, a limit on how many times this can be done per Ascian, though, owing to their shards being finite.
As for the idea that the Ascians have nothing to do anymore now that Zodiark is destroyed, which I see people suggest occasionally, they could still be seeking rejoinings or, worse, seek to remake Zodiark, forcing us to contend with the elder primal at full strength with proper intent.
RubyArch: But what about travanchet ? Good ol' horn stealer from 1.0 :V
seinexer: i think galyx is one or worked with one to destroy the 9th
Jon_the_Wizard: Halmarut I actually have a guess. If they’re the overseer of plants, surely wood is part of their purview. And who makes their home in and among the wood? No not the Gridanians, they don’t get to be relevant. I’m talking about the Viera. So maybe Halmarut’s hanging out in Golmore somewhere (or somewhere in the Skatay Range), manipulating the Viera through a proxy as the incarnation of the Wood.
joseduran7104: Bro the 13 is just cucked at this point funny thing is it's all Durant's fault cause he killed the watcher on the 13th moon and triggered the tilt to darkness and corruption all because he was tricked also emet just wanted his home back and I feel for him but the way he went about it was messed up and fandaniel or who ever is inhabiting his body just I think wanted to watch the the world and the very cosmos burn he didn't care for the rejoining if I remember correctly
Alpacalips: I love how this is edited!
Calvinooi: Where did you get the image of the crystals with their names? It looks so pretty
WayToDawn72: I'm skeptical that the remaining Ascians will be antagonistic to the Warrior of Light and Scions (unless there's a personal vendetta) as Zodiark is gone and the Final Days averted. It would be cool to see the remaining Ascians be it as a third party who has an interest in us, a temporary ally whose goals happen to align w ours, or even as an observer who wishes to understand why we succeeded where they were supposed to
pandorawolf8239: Quick question, where did you find the ascian constellations and names image?
eolendes6432: Halmarut is the Ascian of Libra, the Scales of Justice.
Which role do you think he plays in the convocation? Arbiter you say? Law related? Nope, check this cool potted plant.
Spee33: I do have the feel that Calyx is a shard of Duedalaphon
TheLiquidFaction: Witch acian are we a portion of again?
MrKnaives: Im willing to bet the rest of the Ascian no longer badies. Maybe one or two, but I think their bad guys are are over.
burningxnecro: Considering that in 7.2 Calyx refers to his world as the ninth, maybe you're on to with the Ascians having something do with the storm surge. An Ascian using a lalafel as a host would be neat.
And we know from the 13th that they've made mistakes in the past.
Also I love that you refer to Mitron as "Was a lady, then a dude, then a kaiju, then a stalker", Mitron really creeped me out and gave me major rapist vibes; gross that they get sympathy from the narrative, really gross.
Also considering that they were whispering into Gaia's mind from when she was a young child, groomer may also apply.
