vonderbeard1292: Honestly, I miss the old 8 man Prae runs. Had a lot of fun times goofing off in chat during the cutscenes. Same with Castrum, old Castrum was fun for me.

This was exactly what happened to me.

My party left me in the dust and i was alone and confused.

And honestly....kind of sad.

I had no idea where to go or what i was doing as they ran ahead.

Now as a XIV vet, if there is a sprout in my group on these runs i always make sure to wait at points for my sprouts or even a slower player to catch up. (I main tank so if anyone else wants to race ahead...thats on them)

I always make sure my team is with me throughout so that way they dont have to experience being left in the dust.

A small thing but i still remember it 6 years later....im sure so will someone else.

wethril: Basically Prae got changed to 'not skippable' because back in the day people abused it HORRIBLY and people who didn't want to watch anything skipped it all and people nevr got to experience anything in the proper for that 'last' dungeon of the entire expansion and it was important. I had a friend who basically didn't understand what was going on and their whole experience was entirely ruined for that first 'awe' moment running it the first time because their whole group skipped and ran ahead and by the moment they were ending one cutscene on their own, the whole group was onto the next and they didn't get to enjoy any moment of the actual dungeon itself. So they changed it as players ruined other players experiences and the experience is the whole point of doing the MSQ. If people just hadn't skipped them like mad to speed run it in 10 minutes, then it would still be as it was. People abusing stuff is why things have to change.

ramon6783: What I like about doing Praetorium is trying to act out the character voices if they were done by the current VA group and seeing if acting can actually fit how much time the dialogue box is on screen. I find that some of the dialogue go by a bit fast but I suppose that's to account for players' patience.

madge8996: Honestly just letting your party know it's your first time or you're new to the duty will change how like 90% of veteran players play prae, players are much more likely to start waiting and stop speeding running for the sprout if they know
