Yajarobi69: i hate having to log in every month just to keep house. I've debated heavily just closing up shop and moving on. I tend to play for a few months at a time and want to take extended breaks.

NormFC: i think what they should do is add another tier to apartments. There 3 tiers to housing: small/medium/large. Just add a second tier to apartments, Normal/Large. Increased Item build limit, and maybe a unique floor plan, equal to like one floor of a medium or large house.

beakerb43: If the "Apartments" were 2 rooms at least, i would get one and use it more than my FC house. Decorating a box is ok, but I want a bedroom as well, at minimum. I have this with my FC house and having "Private quarters", but we've been stuck on a "medium plot" due to the Housing PvP being so bad.

mikegeyer4138: i have a great idea FF14...make more house plots...as long as you pay your sub, you should be able to keep house regardless of how often you log in

Leon.262: they desperately need to change the housing system, been trying to relocate into a medium for roughly 8 months now.

i get that adding new wards is "difficult" for them... but what if they just added 3 instanced houses per ward (1 small, 1 medium, 1 large, all with a generic garden (add a discount to the house itself, since you cant change the garden))

boom, instanced housing, still got the neighbourhood feeling (not that that even really is a thing, i never see anyone in housing areas)

it'd literally just be apartments with different sizes, surely not difficult to do.

Hammer1987: The obvious solution here is to have instanced housing for everyone and then the current housing system is used to put your instanced house on a plot in one of the neighborhoods.

That way, when you inevitably lose the plot because you forgot to log in often enough, then you don' lose your house.

And wouldn't it be kinda nice if you didn't have just an fc house, but an fc neighborhood? Something like a headquarters building and then a bunch of plots for member houses, and maybe a bunch of buildings and areas with actual utility. Like a cafe or restaurant where you could get party buffs if the entire party ate there. Or a farm area where you could grow various plants and stuff.

So basically island sanctuary, but for your fc, and actually usefull.

Klefth: To me, there's zero point to the housing system without the neighborhood feel. I would never bother making my house nice anywhere nearly as much if my house was just Island Sanctuary. There's a reason that ended up completely ignored once I reached the max rank rewards.

kevinyonson: Besides all the good ideas, I would love if they cracked down on people owning multiple houses. I checked out dynamis for the first time, and i saw over 10 plots being owned by the same person, if not just the same person on multi accounts
