chriss6855: For subs, I believe the WSUC unmodified build for OJ is probably the better one for people to start out with. Using the build in the video requires modified parts which costs significantly more gil and they also require more repair kits. You also lose out on gil if you're having to level past 85 in order to do a specific route. All of that makes it take significantly longer to break even compared to just running the unmodified build at 85.

JS-kr8fs: The whole submersible thing being a 'small investment' of a few million gil, followed by passive wealth creation through land ownership is so on the nose for how IRL wealth is made. It's even caused legitimate housing issues, because single-owners are buying FC houses exclusively for making money, taking them off the market for traditional FC usage. Very Monetarist, Yoshi-P, much capitalism, wow.

ftilxe: After I finished grinding 500 Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers for my sugar glider mount, I kinda got stuck in FATE grind mode, so I kept doing it. I now make anywhere between 700,000 to 1,400,000 gil per day just from selling those vouchers, for about an hour or two of work depending on my mood. It's been at least 40 million gil over the last month and a half. I also finished leveling my submarines in December, so I have more money than I know what to do with

Soress9: Oh I forgot, for the submarine stuff, Concealed Bay has a lot more jewelry to try and win versus Deep Site 4, I think some run all 5 locations though.

I think after 7.2 with WSUC If I run Unidentified Derelict > The Wreckage of Discovery I > Concealed Bay, it might be close to just 24 hrs to send out at max rank (which should be 130 in 7.2)

Question about the subs.. do I need my own house or simply an FC that has one. Second to that, can I open a workshop within the FC regardless if others have as well? I was thinking of starting my own FC just for sub access but I would prefer to avoid the hassle as I don’t really know anyone in game and don’t want to peddle for applications. Anyone is welcome to chime in, ty in advance!

forcebane: You can't buy more than 2or 3 houses per account anymore so even if you wanted, you can't buyout entire districts for submarines.
