joshuayung5158: Fantasia potions (the purchased consumable used to redo your character creation appearance while keeping all other aspects of your character intact) has been jokingly referred to by the community as 'gender fluid' for a while. Because of the graphics update in 7.0 every existing player gets a free fantasia from a 2 minute quest in one of the starting cities that confirms it can turn a tiny three foot lalafell into a rippling seven foot highland hyur.

They also have a canonically gay cross race (catboy and human) couple who give you the quest that unlocks the Wanderer's Palace (Hard) dungeon.

And a game that deals with major themes of imperialism/colonialism/occupation, actual skin color racism (dont ask Gridanians about the duskwights), xenophobia, etc. You're telling me it's all woke? No way!

I do think that Wuk Lamat sounds a little wooden but so did everyone else in Dawntrail to me which would suggest a voice direction problem, not an acting one.

Shadowbringers was masterfully voiced. Thavnair alone was S tier in its respect for the culture depicted and quality alone.

Most sane people don't care about strong well written female characters it's when they are poorly written and just kinda crammed in Mary sues is when people complain

LaBlueSkuld: One thing to put into perspective is that I'm seeing the same login queues that I was seeing at the end of Endwalker on Aether. They upgraded the hardware of all the data centers during the downtime for Dawntrail. So the strain and demand on the servers are higher than they ever have been.

-Dark-skinned people, even including you, potentially

-Heavy anti-racist and anti-fascist themes, not even remotely subtle

-Gay undertones (or overtones if you know how to read subtext)

-One of the best characters in Shadowbringers is an overweight woman, who is more dominant than her husband, and literally everybody loves her, cuz she's perfect

-You literally play as a globalist deep state agent (Scions of the 7th Dawn) getting into the affairs of myriad nations' politics around the world to sew your ideal of world peace, and even committing political violence

What you mean is, "No one who plays this game would intentionally cut a scene just because of who was in it as cutscenes are pivotal moments to receive valuable information you need while proceeding in the actual game. But you know you do have people skip as people who speed play or need to get done a certain amount of a game in a day because they have real lives outside of it, but it wouldn't be for something like this. This is someone who doesn't really love the game or doesn't play it for their enjoyment."

TheMidWave: After completing Dawntrail the only gripe I have with Wuk Lamats english voice actor is that her inflections for emotions aren't very noticable so too many voice lines come across sounding very samey. Other than that I like her character.
