userbunny14: I remember several ddos happening before EW too, but this does seem bigger then those. They gave us free days added on to subs for those. But no one else seems to remember that this happened so I feel like I'm crazy.

tfangel: I don't think FFXIV has it, but in WoW if this happens, where you get stuck and can't log in, there is an option on the account page where you can get unstuck basically. It teleports you to a certain graveyard, a hassle, but helpful. SE could probably implement something like that, i'd think. Like move your character to Limsa or something.

It generally targets e-commerce website or special online event. The timing is weird. Voila ! Just to explain the reason why it occurs

Medardusai: It's not related to being disconnected while in duty or anything else like that. Almost everyone in my FC cannot log in to their high level characters, regardless of where or when they logged out. For the affected accounts only low level characters (~sub 50ish) work for some reason.

TheGamerNamedTony: Back in the days of s Stormblood i was transitioning between water and land travel in the Ruby Sea. Lost my character for like, almost a full day before I could get him saved. Poor guy went to the first before the first was even a thing! Hope you get yours back sooner then I did. I had to MAKE a character to make a GM ticket for it.

RatingHyperion: I'm not even stuck in an instance and can't login and I'm on Louisoix. It's really bad and still struggling even now. I tried to visit another server via the menu and I couldn't make it over but yet I logged into Phantom just fine? It is really weird
