eternalinsignia: Based on this video, I feel like raidplan is a bit "misleading". Melee finish yam/yak -> people read it we leave yam/yak to solely melee. The result ? Without blowing 2 min, Yam/Yak will not die before Manta. (it is still ok if they Yak/Yam still alive, but tank should be solo them. Meanwhile in PF, due to only melee hit Yak/Yam, it always has 20% HP left. Sure not big deal but .... just annoying.).

Looks to me it the raidplan need to give more explanation like ignore squirel until Yak dead. Which mean for range, once they kill cat, focus on Yak.

Dididererste: been stuck in pf for 18 hours, on this fight because of adds, even when we have done all the mechanics and movements right, we never have enough damage to get past it. am playing mt and wondering where the dps are going wrong. :(

Cranson92: I'm honestly a huge fan of this phase and fight. Almost every issue I've heard people levy towards raiding recently is remedied here. "AOE rotations are useless", "OT feels like a shitty DPS most fights", "Utility skills like low blow aren't useful", "Very few mechanics take advantage of range players existing".

That said, parsing this fight is probably gonna be awful, so I'm just gonna pretend funny numbers don't exist on this one. Either they ignore adds on fflogs, so people full targeting adds/not hitting the boss get punished, or they count adds and people not cleaving the largest group of enemies get punished. Unless they just don't count damage at all during the adds phase, there are gonna be too many ways to play the system for a higher number.
