DacianGradaMusic: despite some people saying "this is why the game's dead, no content so we resort to solo old stuff" and crap like that, it's always so interresting to see the soloable fights as expansions go on. I think it speaks for job/fight design and I hope they keep having less "instadeath" mechanics that remove some of this fun challenge in the future.

I remember watching your Kefka solo video and then trying it myself, succeeding after some prog and feeling great about it :D this, special BLU fights and Deep Dungeon make for a great solo time even in an MMO and that's only worthy of praise, with more to come for sure! (potentially duels in the exploration zone, Beastmaster, etc.)

MrJjjakey: I got DRK weapon and pants this week (ilvl 720 total). I'll leave a reply to this comment later tonight and let people know if that's enough for consistent gaol kills

akkitakara: Since you mentioned trying to get fray to target the gaol to make destroying it more consistent, iirc he is programmed to target the first enemy you deal damage to after he is summoned. I'm not sure how much testing you tried, but you maybe could try placing salted earth away from Titan Max, summon fray, then see if he will prio the gaol since that was the only target you technically hit with salted earth while he was summoned.

benmorrow1701: Probably a silly noob idea here but I noticed that my chocobo only attacks a new target if I attack it (not just when they attack me). Wonder if the dark knight’s shadow follows that behavior
