AllMyJalens: I don’t think you understand the samurai changes very well. Being able to recast every Midare could potentially make up for the loss of potency on our basic generators.

No longer being locked to strick use of Shishui in AOE situations is also incredibly nice.
crimsonpotemkin: I truly can't understand picto's damage.
Don't need to be close to the boss, don't need to do positionals, can move around during casting like rdm and summoner, but one of the highest if not THE highest damage in the game. The reason why ranged jobs always dealt less damage was because of the safety and no positionals with blm being the only exception due to complexity and long cast times.
Do you even know how obnoxiously annoying playing melee is in DT? Every boss fucking spins like a beyblade for mechanics, ignoring where the tank stands half the time. Oh, is it mechanic time? Let me turn around 180* and teleport. Now let me immediately rotate the other way. Over and over, over and over, over and over. We either need another stack of True North or to get rid of positionals, because on top of all that shit twice a minute we have to avoid some giant aoe around the boss for 2-3 gcds. Most of every fight I'm just stuck chasing the rear and flank, jumping in and out, while the picto top dps's at a safe range.
Like, why even bother with melee then, when the melee LB is pathetic anyway, deals like 1-1.5% of the boss' hp anyway. And guess what, people clear Everkeep and Vali extremes in record time without even using the LB3, because honestly, you can deal just as much damage with OGCDs in the time it takes you to cast it, without the threat of being animation locked and killed.
LarkyLuna: Sam has more uptime on tsubamegaeshi now and the heal went trom 500 instantly to 600 over 9 seconds

HIMO37089: The samurai analysis was paper thin at best, just "ooh low potency numbers, must be a nerf". But skips the part where our burst comes more frequently...

taxus7066: The action names in the monk changes are wrong. It's meant to say Phantom Rush, Wind's Reply, and Fire's Reply.
Shinbu150: they gave viper 80 potency buff across the board on their abilities, meanwhile BLM gets a 10 potency buff on 4 abilities lmao
FieldMarshall3: You didn't understand the Samurai changes.
Samurai damage got a buff. You are now able to do Tsubame after every Midare which is huge.
Tengetsu also got a buff. Instead of doing a 500 heal after it expires its now a 200x3 (for a total of 600) healing over time PLUS a 10% damage reduction buff.
