yabiyabi: it is so incredibly selfish to "retire" in a another game and complain about it and ask to adjust it to YOUR retirement level and practically destroy the fun for the rest of the players...... I am somebody with many disabilities, but I'd never ask them to change because I happen to struggle. It is too selfish to ask such a thing. If you want to relax then relax. Take your time. It "wastes" your time??? I remember Alexandrite took me an hour because I died few times and I got distracted by youtube. But this is why I love doing it with Trust, just so I can take my time. If I die , so what? I'd die and miss out on the fight if I'd go with 3 other players. Quicker, sure, but if you like to "relax" then relax........ I agree with Serenayasan here ... Also Serenaya... "Don't let your disabilities stop you" hit me hard. Thank you for the kind words...
ehwick8175: "My mythic and savage days are behind me"
itsspookie: Expansion number 6. You'd think by now people would know how to dodge mechanics that have been recycled.
richardwicker8456: These aren't even casuals making these complaints, these are toxic ultra-casuals that run away from anything remotely difficult. These are the same people that prefer to spam Labyrinth and Syrcus Tower because there's no difficulty involved.
bluumberry: Anxiety can make it hard for you to interact with other people or start new things.
It does not make you shit at playing the game.
And I'm tired of people using it as an excuse for them being shit.
nyappynen: I used to have massive panic attacks due to social anxiety when going into group content. However, my curiosity about raiding managed to win in the end and I gave it a shot despite quite literally shaking the first few times doing group content. At first, I did not even know what a gcd is, but I spent hours practicing my rotation, looking up guides and povs of people playing my class in order to make sure I'm pulling my weight even when I'm scared to fail other people. If you want to feel like you are doing your damn best and not dragging anyone down, practice your rotation, try Stone Sky Sea, and most importantly, if you die, ask yourself "why did I die and how can I avoid it in the future". It is okay to fail, as long as you learn something from it instead of immediately going into the defensive.
NotExplicable: This is the type of person who does the MSQ dungeon once and goes AFK till the next expansion.
powergi3996: If you can't do a normal dungeon with trusts, just use DF and queue as a DPS. If you die other people will carry you.
SunnyDove: Toxic causals get away with so much man. Imagine just having the game challenge you a tiny bit and you persevere. Good grief. The entitlement for things to be catered to them is insane. Oh no you wiped twice on one boss! It’s the end of the world
UltrosFF6: This discourse happens every expansion. Back in stormblood people wanted to nerf Shinryu. You know why these dungeons are harder than usual? Not only are they a little harder, but the two new Dps that everyone is playing don’t have a Rez. If the tank isn’t paying attention, and the healer dies, it’s over.
Harleigh_19: I always considered myself pretty casual, I don’t do any of the hardcore raiding or Ultimates but I would still consider myself pretty damn competent at the game. Reading/hearing about some of these complaints and “critiques” of DT this last week or two has been beyond pathetic. I know there are shit players in 14, I’ve had plenty in roulettes, but it is BAFFLING to think that some players are genuinely this bad….
ehwick8175: Damn, how these ppl going to do the new eureka?
kirifps: I got held hostage by a SCH Reaper in Alexandria first boss yesterday, they somehow made it that far with the reaper not even knowing enshroud was a thing and SCH not knowing what a stack marker was and running away from it/running away with it everytime. Declined Vote abandoned, held me for 40 minutes before I just decided to leave and take my penalty. If anything, previous dungeons should be harder cause it should not be possible to make it that far in the game with so little knowledge
voidheart3871: I’m visually impaired, I’d like to get into extremes and beyond, but I lack the time and my disability makes it tough, that said the msq dungeons still weren’t that tough and I find this incredibly funny
shirox11: I would ask that people pushback against this kind of feedback on the forums (civilly ofc) so that they know the people who are satisfied with the direction battle content is going out weighs those who are saying stuff like “this is to hard”
Magnarmis: I love that they are more challenging. They felt like boring walking simulators in endwalker.
Jarediann: I said this on another video, but this game is on the 5th expansion, and we are now lvl 100. The baseline difficulty needs to increase, plain and simple. Video game difficulty should not stagnate, especially not after 100 levels
umbralflow6883: I thought people wanted harder dungeons?
