Dr.Quarex: I do not know what is going on but it is taking me 30-45 minutes to find a single holiday scorched this year, when in previous years I would have hit the daily 10 after 30 minutes for sure. I mean clearly it is the influx of additional players, but still surprising every place I used to check is always picked over. Definitely hitting up the Poseidon areas now thanks to this video though!
danakissmgrits2624: Also, do everyone a favor and CLEAR YOUR TARGET AREA. When you don't completely clear an area, the area DOES NOT RESPAWN. So clear ALL of the enemies, whether they're Holiday Scorched or not. A courteous gamer is a happy gamer... LOL...
RaScarabous: Hunting the holiday scorchrd is good, but farming the gifts is really the ho ticket to success. It helps make it easier if you're Fallout 1st and have access to the private server. The collectrons can be placed in your camp and in workshops, so take as many workshops as you can and pop a collectron down in each set for gifts. I did this in a private server yesterday and got hundreds of gifts. I didn't even bother protecting the workshops, just built a platform in each one with the collectron and a fast travel mat then just hopped around collecting. The only hassle was traveling to each workshop, taking them, and setting stuff up. If you just want the gifts then it's definitely the way to go.
A bit of bonus info, the ammo from the gifts will be mostly the weapon you have equipped. So equip the weapon you need the ammo the most for before opening gifts. I got 100 mini nukes in one go that way.

nettneo: I use private server, and every hour or so I go to a Public server and Dump ALL my repeat plans at the 76 drop box. I have stopped putting legendary items in these boxes because of the Legendary Crafting coming next update. Have a Nuked Day.

561jeffkelly: Excellent Vlog, just to mention to New starters to this the Holiday Scorched will not spawn if you have to load into a building. You showed a sectional of you running around the medical centre but they will not spawn in here. Keep up the good work
joeclark3973: I have been struggling since this started. When I pick up or craft a gift, it does not appear in my MISC inventory. I also can't see my keys and other items. And when I've opened gifts, it doesn't show me what I got in the yellow text on screen. Anyone know how to fix that?
an_avidpanda_lover8349: Here’s something worth mentioning: If you see a Scorched Horde event pop in your game, go to it, but DO NOT KILL the “Alpha” Scorched. Every time another “horde” spawns each Scorched has a chance to spawn as a Holiday Scorched.
