Second tip I will add that can help potentially:

Get your hands on an anti-armor flaming chainsaw or auto-axe(any configuration you like - but anti-armor) and run the tax evasion expedition. If you are running a sneaky build style, not even a good one, you should be able to get usage on this. The chainsaw and auto-axe will make short work of the overgrown and buttercup at the end - recommend chems to make it faster.

This is actually how I got the union PA well before anyone else did. I did the damn grinding for it. The auto-axe also in burning mode will RIP the enemies apart, especially if you have sturdy tools running.

I have also noticed a couple of additional items that I don’t think anyone has noticed yet:

1. Gauss weapons may be sellable now. Anyone can confirm this yet?

2. The kabloom shotgun had received a huge boost in power. If you got one and haven’t been using it yet, go play. I have a feeling that it might be connected with the caravan quest lines coming up. Who knows?

olebrumme6356: If you scrap a 3 star there's always the chance you will learn/get mod from the 2nd or 3rd star. So it's much better scrapping 1 stars with the effect you're after.

somekindadragon3414: Well, my generosity with decent meta items by giving them to newer players or selling them for very cheap at my vendor, is biting me in the ass a bit. I wondered why high level players (read anyone over 500) was buying my 2 and 3 star decent but not amazing stuff that would be fantastic for players under 100 level…. Now i know why.

And I don’t use a mule.
