Get Ready!! New Legendary Crafting Fallout 76

brucewarren9281: Thanks Morp! but I'm NOT very excited. 1 scrip for 1 core is insulting. I'd heard 1 module for 1 core and even that is a slap in the face. 1 core should convert to 5 modules. Especially with the Eviction nerf and increased cost of crafting, which then character locks the piece! And scrapping a legendary is more likely to give you nothing than a box mod and a plan is even more rare than that AND the mods and plans are totally random. I could get 10 Ghoul Slayers or Disease Resist before a useful one like AA or FFR. I fail to see how this doesn't make the game 100x more grindy. Be careful what you wish for. Just my 2 cents.

dhunter1133: Lemme see if I have this straight: Despite cores being twice the seasonal cost (15 tix) of legendary modules (7.5 tix), and 20x more expensive than legendary scrip (1.33 tix), they're going to convert to scrip at 1:1. Wow. And it's not even worth burning them now because just the 4 mods alone necessary to roll a 3* is worth 200 scrip, just to net you 40 scrip in the exchange without even factoring in the loss of the cores. I'm SO glad I stocked up on cores last season. Thanks Bethesda...

Epicness560: My poor stash has been full of legendaries ever since the system was announced. Glad itll pay off next update

ryanscott5622: Player locked god rolls lol lol lol lol

Oxybandz: So use up all my modules now before the system gets ruined .. changing more core games mechanics 5years down the line .. thanks Rocksta- I mean Bethesda

LJJones-yj9ot: I have 5k 3 star weapons and 4k 3 star armor on mule accounts. Was saving it for scrip, now I'll be scraping all of it on Sept 3rd.

nostalgiker_6037: Bethesda is doing everything to ruin this Game to death

leehelck4606: sadly all 5 of my characters have more than half of their stash filled with items i want to keep respective of their builds. some of us really don't have the option of stockpiling legendaries the way that you presented here. overall this is just another grind aspect Bethesda is adding to the game.

johnavdellis6646: This is just a useless and time consuming as the current system

crazy-tommy: My plans for preperation (as someone who doesn't have mules and has everything on the main):

1) live in my old Excavator power armor with -20% weapon weigth on all parts until the update drops at 3rd september and keep any weapon with good roll to scrap it after the update

2) keep all armor parts with good rolls and mod them with ultra-light to save carry weight

3) keep all power armor parts with good rolls and store them inside power armor frames to save carry weight (if I need scrip for my daily limit these are my backup ressource)

4) as you already suggested keep all my legendary modules and use them to craft tons of secret service armor at a cheap cost of 1 module per craft until one day before the update to scrap them (you should wait with crafting as even if modded with ultra-light the armor parts are heavier in your stash than the legendary modules, also use the Sturdy Frame perk when crafting them to cut the weight in half)

5) during the upcoming Mothman Equinox collect all Deathclaw arms from Deathclaws you killed or from Deathclaws that other players killed but haven't looted and then spawn as world objects to craft as many Unstoppable Monster weapons as you can - it only costs two legendary module (and two deathclaw arms) and comes with a guaranteed Bloodied roll

6) keep all your Mutated and Mutated Party Packs until the update get released as each represents a 3 star weapon available for scrapping which makes them cost efficient regarding carry weight. As a side effect with the next update the reward lists is getting updated and some rare outfits like the Red asylum dress are getting added to the pack rewards. Also it seems some legendary effects might be new and can only roll on items gotten after the update. One example for this is 3 INT on weapons which was craftable on the PTS, but can not roll on weapons on the Live systen and it was confirmed by the data miners that existing legendary mods for INT on armors are not shared and can not applied to weapons.

7) decide if I want to spend my remaining tickets on repeatable atoms or if I should use them to get repeatable legendary modules to craft even more items before the update
