cynicalthoughts: Lol the same shit happened ages ago with the excavator, if you had already crafted parts the quest wouldnt finish. Even if the armor was on my stash, only when i got rid of everything excavator related i was able to finish the quest
Momofukudoodoowindu: Ehhh, who cares? Caravans are a grindy drag and drain on your caps and time. You don’t really get much out of these. The Carbine is effectively a 40k cap weapon plan with the path to it filled with loads of game breaking bugs and God awful AI pathfinding. I’ll just skip all that BS and go and buy it from someone and compensate them for it.

And mark my words, they won’t update this shit. This is all caravans will ever be, most likely. Bethesda loves leaving features and factions to die after introducing them. They might get some minor updates, but nothing substantial. Milepost Zero isn’t worth investing in.
CoNiGMa: I had it in my inventory before doing the quest and still got it, but my friend had the bug happen and couldn't get the weapon schematic due to it completing automatically.
