peterclarke7006: Simple solution: don't trade with anyone. The "system" is too easily abused.

Donate to individuals (just don't use the donation box, or some high level toxic twit will swipe everything like the nasty little porch pirates they are) but don't trade.

I don't even trade with my team mates. I give them stuff, and if they want to reciprocate, that's great, but it's not expected or required.
LaVex91: As someone who counts their money coming out of an ATM machine in real life, I don't trust nobody. I even got killed by a person's camp once with pacifist mode turned on (yes thats apparently a real thing that can happen in game, people do it to steal your loot) My rule of thumb is if it's not in a vendor and the vendor is not directly outside and out front of your camp or if it is located inside as long as it isn't in a shady weirdly placed area I'll gladly buy from ya. Otherwise, I'll lose interest. I'm sorry
