I was on a private server, so I thought that might be the issue.
Then, I was helping a caravan, on a public server, and it timed out too, because the Brahman would never stop at an outpost...
Hopefully, this is a fluke, and it's not happening too much.

leestone7258: It's the worst thing they could put in the game. Caravan like f nobody asked for it or wants it. There is already a caravan event in fallout 76 that nobody does. Fallout 76 in on a downward streak. I think it's time to leave for a couple of years till they get there shit together. All these updates are squarely pointed to the streamers and so-called content creators. For a typical casual player, the last two updates are backwards and makes everything longer and less achievable.
