nyxenwhite: Uninstalled ESO a month ago cold turkey - and I was a daily PVP player for over 4 years and playing on/off since beta... Lost all hope in this game unfortunately as I only see unbalances not being addressed (only band-aid sets that end up aggravating the problem), horrible server performance... and posts over posts of dev copium with empty promises and seeing friends trickle away 1 by 1. TBH, it feels like getting rid of a toxic partner - finally enjoying other games, and I have 0 interest in returning. I've been play "testing" AoC Alpha2 and it's fun *af*. If you're looking for that old school MMO feeling where every step feels immensively rewarding abeit being grindy, a high risk vs reward and where mobs can actually kill you (lol) I'd say to take a look at it. Sure, its still in testing phase but I havent had this much fun in an mmo in years. Take it from me, its only when you properly quit eso that you realize how sh!t of a game it really, really has become.

Eso_lags: even though ive watched almost every friend ive ever had quit eso over the years, its just not my style. If i get bored enough ill stop playing. Maybe come back when things get better or i miss it. But i understand why people do it. And even still, the days of me spending 10 hours a day in cyrodill for months at a time are gone. Im lucky to stay interested for an hour at this point. Zos has destroyed the end game community both in pvp and out. They are the most incompetent dev team i have ever seen. Their disregard for fixing their mess of performance and balance is pathetic, and their absolute disdain for the end game community is shameful. Eso has all the potential of a game like wow, but zos lacks the passion and drive to make it happen. So they will keep towing the line, dumbing things down, and making bad changes, driving their end game players away more and more. Which will certainly kill the game eventually.

When all the end game players who care are gone they will either move on to another project or fully commit to skyrim online. They dont understand how much money end game players actually put in their pockets. Like most people would cringe if i told them how much money i have spent on race changes/alliance changes alone over the years. Never mind everything else. And that goes for most people i know. But they just want to focus on the role players who come once a year to quest through a chapter.

Anyway, rant over. You should do what makes you happy. I think taking breaks from eso is good, especially if you find another game you like. And when you miss it hop on for a while. Its nbd

Rastamunfarion: being from nz i completely cannot play efficent pvp either. the input lag/delay whatever you wanna call it is absolutely unbearable. it can take 5-8 button presses to get a single skill too fire or walk through a keep door. just crazy

tannertiffey3250: I miss the old brawler days. I still play mostly brawler builds, but man is it difficult. They keep adding too many absurd proc sets that add to server performance issues. I deal with lag, but cannot deal with the absurd amount of Desync. They've looked into proc sets 2 or 3 years ago and admitted that it had huge negative impacts on the server. What did they do? Added more sets

ESO_PRIME: Good luck finding another mmo as good as this one! Cyrodil still is thee best PvP gaming experience to be had in 2025. Sure it has it’s issues, all games do , but in the end of the day a 30 day campaign fighting endlessly for resources is fucking epic!

SirSquash: they ran tests times before but NEVER shared any of the results. (no procs and the cooldown/ramping costs on abilities)

they have said servers were upgraded but performance got worse than what it was before the upgrade after two months of useable service.

right now im literally playing a racing game thats 15% done in early access, over playing their game thats been out over 10 years.

the people running ESO are disconnected from the community outside of select puppets and 'yes men' in their stream team content creator circle who will never call them out for their BS.

and you see how they treated nefas for streaming at a streaming convention.

VisualBliss.: I think when you have filled yourself with so much hate for a game / community then its simply time to stop playing.

Bg's are the biggest killer for cyrodiil, But zergs is just basic war tbh. Most players are not feeding an ego so their more than happy to play it as a large scale war which it was intended as.

If people want to just stay in 2-4 player groups and complain at 20 players zerging them, then they are better off playing battlegrounds / IC etc
