I love ESO not because im a great endgame player meta chaser or pvper or roleplayer, i play ESO because i love the world of Tamriel. And only ESO lets me explore so much of this world and has the potential to give me more in the future. Yes, I'm one of those player who after finishing exploring the world of TES4 Oblivion, would go near the edge of the map and stare out into the distance, pressing the W key, all the while ignoring the "you can't go further" message. So I'm glad that ESO is still coming out with more content and stuff for us to explore. Cheers for covering this. Subscribed!

SlumdoggVII: Dude I've been begging for them to add some kind of time selection for the game the same way they did in warcraft. It drives me insane that Molag Bal is still invading 10 years later it makes everything we do in game seem meaningless.

in WoW you get to choose which timeline you are in and it would change the world for you

So yoi could choose Golden road which would mean Molag Bal is defeated

But if you wanted to stsrt base game storyline you could go into that timeline and do those quests

I can't believe they don't have some kind of phasing yet

josiewoodrose7616: I am excited that ZOS is not straying too far from chapters. I love that the main story will continue and there are so many possible clues here that it really sounds promising. I expect to pay around $80 for the premium and I am ESO but that doesn't bother me at all because I want to keep ESO healthy and getting new content created for as long as possible.

VisualBliss.: Honestly all sounds great! I much prefer the drip feed of content, it should keep it fresh longer through the year rather than one bulk load of content each year.

onthaloose: My guess is that you’re right it’s going to be essentially like chapters. The difference being that they break it up into four smaller pieces and sell them to you separately. So instead of paying one large price for the chapter, you’re now going to pay for slightly smaller prices for the seasons that will add up to more than the chapters. I really hope I’m wrong, but I doubt it. Zenimax has become super aggressive with their monetization

l-_-sage-_-l: Yeah I mean saying they’re going to take a break from chapters to work on the game & then continuing with chapters renamed as seasons shouldn’t impress anyone. They need to work on the existing game not just new content. No one has a problem with a new zone if they also take care of the rest of the game. I could list 100s of things they need to fix or improve right now. That’s the main issue people will have with this & these type of decisions is why ZOS & ESO are so poorly received in the gaming community.
