Should You Play ESO in 2025? Elder Scrolls Online

daltonburroughs3811: If they added crossplay I and my whole friend group would be into this again.

Ditronus.: Mega servers are such a great thing in ESO. The world feels alive wherever you go. Whereas in WoW, their shard/realm technology leaves zones, even on new zones on expansion day releases, feeling crazy empty.

KeepTheRest: The new cyrodiil campaign is amazing. Its even more fun than in midyear mayhem

Revien2: There's over 50 group dungeons, I wish they would add more solo dungeons like Maelstrom Arena.

VaultCon: I've tried to get into ESO many times over the years but you mentioned exactly what turns me away every time, the questing is like playing a game on the easiest difficulty and that is incredibly boring.

SelianAboveAll: I really do feel like if they atleast added a crossplay megaserver, it would help the console community immensely. Like my wife has an xbox and im on ps5. Id love to be able to play with her but im not buying a new console and losing a 7 year acoxunt

miragames9475: Oh, damn u , you brought back so many memories with this video , i played this game for 18 months , 10 hours every day , i was completely addicted, only for America to ban my country and i could never play it again , u made me cry Lucky, tnx for that

kwhittz1144: I just started playing a week ago. So it's a great time to start. Lots of content! Thanks Lucky, for helping me learn the game.

joshjda: What I'd like to see is the combat changed back to a good combat system instead of what we have now the entire system tuned around light attacks. This annoyed me wayyy back when and still annoys me now. I want to play a combat mmo not a macro simulator. Pressing the same sequence of buttons over and over again is stupid. It has always been stupid and people who say to light attack weave need smacked. The massive nerfs to everything because lame people on pc want to pretend to play games while running scripts is just lame.

codernerd7076: Sticking to World Of Warcraft. I tried so many MMOs, Guild Wars 2, FFXIV, and now ESO, but all failed to hold my attention. FFXIV got close, but that horrible last xpack and one of the worst characters in gaming history becoming the main character for some reason....

carlosalmodovar3637: I just wish for cross progression :( or transfer from console to pc

zovikcz3589: hey man I love your videos, I just started to play eso again after long time and i am addicted as hell :D but i wanted to ask you is it possible to have 2 builds on 1 char? I mean i have templar dps now and I wanna have heal templar :D so i am not sure if it is possible or i have to create templar healer later :D

daniele.macciantelli.singer: My main issue with The Elder Scrolls Online has always been its lack of well-defined classes with specific roles—something I’ve grown accustomed to from World of Warcraft and other RPGs before it. ESO uses a system where anyone can do anything—a mage can wield a shield, for instance—which, in my opinion, leads to a loss of identity, and that’s a crucial aspect for me.

The interface is another drawback—I’d much prefer a more classic RPG-style UI. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a great example of an interface that enhances immersion.

I do enjoy the combat system and find it more in line with my preferences compared to WoW, but the rest doesn’t really click with me. Sure, the housing system is well-designed, but it’s not something I’d want to invest time in.

Unfortunately, World of Warcraft, especially in the private server scene, remains the undisputed number one.

StormfangGuide: Dead game

LG1ikLx: 1 thing was ESO is I am not a fan of its "flat" progression system. The game feels the same from start to end. Nothing ever checks your skill. It's a fun game thou

little_lord_tam: Zenimax making a second mmo is either a massive fumble or incredibly genius. Because on one side your competing with yourself while having to spend on both games, on the contrary if the games are different enough, they can bind even more players to themselves

PartyTeddy32: The deluxe edition just went for sell so far I’m loving it I’m currently level 32 your vids have been fun to watch

TheMikeYouSee: I plan on starting after the graphic update. On PS5 though. I don't wanna play on PC.

youfool6383: No stop playing it

UnluckyWait: IDK mate, ESO hits a bit weak in most places. Combat isn't that great, feels pretty bland and doesn't change when you get to 50. My OG char from the launch is there, I quit for a while made a new character got that to 50 and eventually left again. I'm trying to give it another try again but I'm reminded why I left to begin with. I hate having to redo quests, redo discovery of zones, skyshards etc -- I know you can BUY skyshards that should tell you it's enough of a problem to warrant a cash money option. I don't know how long I'll last this time but I can never quite get back into this game.

nexeus7302: Sorry, Ghost, but this presentation of ESO isn't gonna cut it. The game has been out for so long and yet it has horrible questing and it's super random, nor it has beginning - middle - end. It's so chaotic that more often than not will off put new players. I remember seeing one review of the game of some random guy that has nearly 800hrs and he cannot remember anything good from questing, despite the fact they spend thousands of dollars for good VA actors. One important detail you tend to forget is.. a good MMO SHOULD HAVE, or rather mandatory to be with structured questing in order to capture it's players. ESO have none of that. The game literally throws into the world from the tutorial zone and says "Get f**ed" with your questing. New players especially. After 3-4 hours of gaming session you will be asking "is this is the main quest"? What is what? There's random NPC's popping all over each zone offering quests that at some point becomes rather tedious than "fun". This is not how you play an MMO, nor as far as I remember ESO isn't Albion like MMO either. This is why this game will remain under the radar, and will never be "the top" MMO that many ESO fans were hopping for. It's just not working. Not to mention the off putting combat. Sorry, but this game will always be mediocre at best, no matter how many high quality cinematics the studio throws at it's playerbase.

coroto: TLDR: NO.

simonw1252: Always great to watch a LG ESO vid

tsuraraonna1614: Short answer: yes.

Long answer: yeees.

DESHPLEASE: This was a great trip down memory lane. Love ESO! But especially Molag's Bal

BoatLoadsofDope: It's fun for sure, but i'm very concerned when they announced they'll stop the expansions and go into more "monthly content"

It screams maintenance mode to me.
